Milan was brought to us as a stray that had been hit by a car. The first few days of treatment and recovery were not easy, but she stayed strong and made it clear that she wanted a second chance in life. 💖
Milan is the sweetest girl to take care of in the hospital. She is laidback, loving, extra sweet, friendly, playful yet gentle, and overall a really wonderful cat. She is still undergoing veterinary care, but she is ready to find her forever family!

We have a very special blind shelter kitty staying in our hospital. 🥰 He sure has melted all of our hearts. Coosa is a beautiful chocolate point looking for a forever, loving home.
Coosa was brought to us by the Humane Society of Elmore County. He was found as a stray that had likely been hit by a car. Coosa was found on the side of the road, and a deputy stayed with him until he could be brought to the shelter for help. Coosa was injured with head trauma and had difficulty walking at first. He was very thin and just pitiful. 🥺 After much needed veterinary care, Coosa regained his ability to walk and he put on healthy weight. We suspect Coosa is blind due to the head trauma, and we are uncertain if he will ever regain his vision.
Being blind does not stop Coosa from living life to the fullest. We have watched this sweet boy's personality blossom. He is precious in every possible way, and he gives the sweetest head bumpers and sandpaper kisses. He makes the cutest biscuits, especially in the mornings when he is ready for breakfast. Come meet this sweet boy and take him home! You will love him. 🥰
✨ Coosa is blind and must be strictly INDOOR ONLY. Coosa uses his sense of smell and hearing to find his way around the clinic. ✨

Day 10 of parvo treatment. Phillip ate a little more today. Not quite a full meal, but making progress. Phillip loved the chicken nugget his Auntie Amber brought for him. He played with the dandelions again outside. 🌼 We need to get a video of that- it's the cutest ever.
Phillip had a little bit of spunk during his fluid therapy this morning. Phillip is such a good boy for all of his treatments, and he is getting stronger.
Little bites of Vienna sausage. 🎉 Phillip ate more today on his own. He still isn't eating well, but making progress.
Phillip played outside for the first time in over a week. He rolled a little bit in the grass and played with dandelions. 🥹🌼💕 Phillip is still weak, but he is improving.
