These boxers come to us from a breeder who, overwhelmed and unable to care for them, reached out to us in desperation. Now, it's our turn to step up and ensure they never face those same kind of tragic endings.
We urgently need funds to cover their boarding, veterinary care, and transportation. These essentials are the first steps in transforming their lives and showing them the kindness and safety they've been denied. They have never been to a veterinarian or left the property. The are very scared but continue to be the sweetest dogs throughout this ordeal.

Welcome to the streets of Starr County, Texas, where the average temperature is 97 degrees.
We'd like to introduce you to a brave soul who has captured our hearts - meet Cat. 🐶 This sweet female boxer was found in Starr County, Texas, cowering under a piece of Cat brand construction equipment on the side of a busy road, amidst heavy construction a few days ago. It was a scorching summer day, and she was nearly hit by several cars. 😢
Thanks to the quick thinking and compassionate heart of a Good Samaritan, Cat was approached and able to be rescued from the perils of the street. 🦸♀️
The situation for street dogs in Texas is dire, and Cat’s story is, unfortunately, all too common. But she’s now safe in our care! 🙌 She will be thoroughly evaluated by a veterinarian, receive all necessary vaccinations, and get the healthcare she desperately needs before she is transported.
We named her Cat after the equipment that provided her with a temporary refuge, but we know her future holds so much more. 🌟

This is Maia. She was found lifeless in a pool of blood in a school yard in Rio Grande Valley, Texas. A group of children discovered her and called for help, and and an animal control officer quickly arrived to the scene. He was able to pick her up and carry back to his truck to transport her to the local shelter. He hosed Maia off only to discover her thin frame was lacerated and actively bleeding in multiple areas. Due to the severity of this poor girl’s injuries, he realized there was nothing more the shelter could do for her as they have extremely limited resources. The officer immediately contacted CH Boxer Rescue. After explaining to us the dire situation Maia was in, we immediately committed to saving her. Our local volunteer sprung into action and transported her to the emergency animal hospital.
Upon examination and x-rays, her veterinary team believed that this poor soul was attacked by a pack of wild animals which is far too common in this area. She is safe and stable, but will require continued care and treatment. We will be taking full responsibility for her care and rehabilitation, but this will come at a significant cost to the rescue. We are asking you to consider making a donation on her behalf. No animal should have to suffer and live like this and we will do everything in our power to continue to help the dogs in rural Texas and other areas. We are so grateful for any donations you can make to support her care.
