Nestled in a valley, Snug Haven’s specialty is “frost-sweetened” spinach grown in hoophouses during the winter months. The spinach literally freezes, and in doing so, the starches are converted into sugars creating a truly unique winter delicacy. Some early season crops include; specialty lettuce, arugula, tomatoes (including heirlooms), cut flowers, and peppers. We sell year-round at the Dane Cou

nty Farmers’ Market and direct market to restaurants in the Madison and Chicago area. Winter spinach and summer flower shares are offered to families in the Madison area.
