Storytime! The family I nanny for has twin 6 year old boys, a 3 year old girl and 16 month old girl. I'm mainly with the girls during the day, and then I pick the boys up from school so I don't get to spend as much time with them. Usually it's rush to get home and eat snack and get ready for sports etc.. on Monday the baby sister had a fever scare and had to go to the ER, long story, but we were all so worried about her, one of the brothers is more sensitive, he has emotional lows but is so thoughtful and attentive. He was extremely worried about the baby and since then he's been checking on her, giving her extra attention, even being more kind and considerate to all of us, using his manners, I can tell he wants everyone to be happy and okay.. again today he is being so polite, it's just me and him in the living room, and I asked him " can I tell you something?" Had him pause his activity and look at me, and I said I've noticed the last few days you've been so kind and polite and using your manners so well, and I want to just say thank you and I appreciate it.. he stood there and then immediately ran up and gave me a big hug omg! That must have meant a lot to him! He then said you are very nice! Lol.. why am I crying??🥺😅🥰

A little about me: I was born and raised here in Morgan Hill, the youngest of 5 children, grew up with many younger cousins, nieces and nephews, so I have always loved and have been comfortable around kids! I nannied my first child at 18 when he was 1 year old. After that I worked at the YMCA for 5 years, then I was the supervisor for a daycare for 2 years, started nannying for one family in 2017 which lasted until covid. I did in-home tutoring for 5 different children during the distance learning school year '20-'21, and have nannied for 4 different families since then all lasting about a year each. Currently I work part time for two wonderful families caring for their 16 month old and 3 year old, and 17 month old twins!💕 I also babysit occasionally for about 10 families in town, including overnights and multiple days while parents travel.
In regards to pet sitting, I grew up in the country with many animals and I have always had both cats and dogs so of course completely comfortable with all types of fur babies! I started pet sitting for a friend's parents many years ago, taking care of their puppy, cats and horses. Then they recommended me to their friends and I started pet sitting for my friends and so on and so forth, basically just personal referrals until I started getting tagged on FB groups and decided to make this page for a reference and to show my love and appreciation for these babies and their families!💕👶🐕🐈🐾
