***UPDATE - LIVE TRAPPED, IMPOUNDED AND RETURNED TO OWNER AS ONE OF THE TWO DOGS WAS MICROCHIPPED - THANK YOU FRIENDS!!! ASHTON/LEROY area residents.. These two furbabies have taken up at a cabin in the area of 13 mile near 200th Avenue. Finder states - just as prior post indicates - Dogs are not letting anyone come close to them. We respectfully request your shares to help us help find their homes!! We may need to set a livetrap for them which is not ideal in this horrible winter weather. Thank you friends!!!!!

A guy sends you a friend request. He looks nice enough, so you check him out on FB before accepting. Awe, he’s got a wife and just the Cutest Kids. You don't know him; but, he's a Family Man and his profile and info is all good; so you accept his friend request.
It's your baby girl's first day of school. She looks SO cute in her new outfit and you just have to take a picture and post it on Facebook so all your friends and family can see.
You're so excited dropping her off that you 'Check in' to her school on FB saying...”I can't believe how big she's gotten. Time sure flies. One proud momma/daddy right here.”
Meanwhile, the mystery guy whose friend request you hurriedly accepted previously, is saving that photo you posted of your daughter in her cute new outfit, to his phone and texting it to 60 other grown men across the world with the caption - American Female, Age 8,
Brown Hair, Blue Eyes, ID # R8000.
Not only did you provide a picture of your little girl to a child trafficker, you've handed him the name and exact location of her school on a silver cyber platter.
You go to pick her up at 3:00 this afternoon; but, she's nowhere to be found.
Little do you know, your precious baby girl was sold to a 43 year old pe*****le before you even stepped foot off campus this morning; and, now she's on her way to Asia with a bag over her head, confused, terrified and crying.
A strange man she's never seen before, snatched her up from school in less than 10 seconds. She doesn't know where her parents are, where she's going, or what's going to happen next, it’s hard for her to breathe and she’s all alone and terrified!!!!! And, YOU did this to her, unknowingly...
But, now you know 😳

Well it’s that time of the year… Shearing time!! Tomorrow is the day! Keep us in mind if your looking for some yummy wool. I have Blueface Leisters, Icelandic’s, Leister Longwools. Plus crosses of these.. I’m also part of Dances With Wool group, we are a eclectic group of gals with different breeds of sheep, goats and alpacas. Timothy Wright is our is our shearer and always leaves our sheep beautiful… Thank goodness it’s supposed to be warming up..

This morning we arrived at the shelter to find TWO DOGS that had DIED OF PARVO. 😢 They were brought in by police on Saturday evening, found near Belnap St and 505 S Bradley St in Mt. Pleasant. The real photos are too disturbing to post, but this image indicates what the dogs look like.

We have a SERIOUS parvo issue on the west side of Mt. Pleasant right now and there is a major risk to all residents with unvaccinated dogs, especially puppies. If you live in the area, proceed with extreme caution...unvaccinated animals should only be taken outside (on leash) when absolutely necessary and kept near your residence only. Parvovirus is VERY CONTAGIOUS and is easily spread by contaminated f***s which can live on the ground for YEARS.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
- Share this post and WARN pet owners!
- Get your dogs vaccinated ASAP!
- Don't obtain new animals if you live near that area!! Puppies are EXTREMELY susceptible to the virus.
- CALL US if your dog begins to show symptoms...before it's too late. The most obvious symptoms include: lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting, and severe, often bloody, diarrhea. Again, CALL US at (989) 775-0830 if you have a dog, or you see a dog, that appears infected so we can try to help.
- Research parvo and educate yourself. It's DEADLY, but also PREVENTABLE with a vaccination.

These poor dogs didn't deserve to die this way...if you know someone in the area who owns dogs (or is breeding dogs) with a similar appearance, please call Animal Control at (989) 773-9721.

Wow, went out to do chores and discovered a ewe and apparently her lamb. These were added to my group my someone who didn’t leave a note as to who they did belong to. The ewe is friendly and there nice looking sheep so I guess they have a new home. I was kind of feeling like you do when people put extra zucchini on your porch and run. Lol!!

What a busy summer here on the farm! We belong with a fun group of gals called" Dances with Wool" and have vended lots of fun fiber shows this summer and fall. Grandson playing with the goats to setting up a new loom for me. We've got the rams ready for fall breeding season, our winter feed pretty much in the barn. We downsized our sheep herd down alot this year with ewes and young rams going to new homes. We will checking to add different breeds to our group. Hugs to all for a wonderful fall!
