First petting zoo of the year for us! St. Anne Grade School! Weather stinks and we were not able to bring all of the animals that we wanted, but we made it!

Who’s ready for the 2024 season!?!?We are and our books are ready too. We not only do festivals, but we can come to a school, FFA/AG classes or just simply a birthday party. Just a reminder, we do not have pony rides or allow people on our property. We are a strict traveling petting zoo/ educational program. Send us a date for pricing and availability!

I am closing the books for the remainder of the year! If you’re interested in having us come out for birthdays or family work functions, please message the page for pricing and availability. With that being said, we are starting bookings for the 2024 year. If you’d like us to come out, we do visit fundraisers, festivals, work/company/family days, birthday parties, educational speaking’s for schools, 4-H or FFA days, we’re open to do about anything. This is the time of year that the festivals are slowing down. So… we’re looking to book birthday parties, work events, or flea markets (even larger ones with other vendors)!

We are budget friendly and we do not charge for festivals. Our prices are 75$ an hour or 300$ for five hours (pricing DOES depend on distance).

Right now we do have openings for the third and fourth weekend of October, along with all of September and November.

If you have a heated building, we can do events in December, January, and February. We can also go to schools, 4-H clubs, etc. (We do offer different prices for those events).

We are a farm that does raise and butcher our own meat, we sell animals that’s are in the market and we are willing to do farm/homestead educational speeches. These speeches can help everyone learn the differences in breeds of animals, along with their purposes. Knowledge is power! We farm that raises and butchers our own meats, we also sell animals to other who are looking for market animals!

Please note- We are a traveling only program so please refrain from messaging us to come out to look or to pet our animals.

Only a few pictures from this past weekend at the St.Anne Pumpkin Festival we had a great weekend and absolutely thank everyone who came by and supported us. We will be making a public debut at the watseka 4th of July parade Tuesday July 4 in watseka after the parade we will leave our set up up so kids from the community and or the parade can come see the animals.

Do you know a special someone who’d be over the moon to be up close and have the opportunity to get hands on with caring for a baby calf?? Well here at TTF we offer calf feedings when you book with us! Yes that’s right when you book us for your next event weather it’s a party or a festival you can enter the raffle drawing to win one of three calf feedings!!
How’s the drawing work well it’s simple you donate 1$ per ticket put your name and phone number on the back and at 6pm the day/days were at the events we will pull three names out of the jar and the lucky winners in the order they are drawn will pick the calf they would like to feed, help mix up the bottles and be able to feed a baby calf. Feedings will start at 6:30pm. You’ll also be able to have their loved ones capture the once in life photo or video of them feeding the calf’s! Not many places offer this and I know when no was a kid I would have been over the moon. All donations from the calf feeding go directly to the care of the calf’s one 25lb of milk replacer for the calf’s cost 60$. Adults are welcomed to enter the drawing too! Did you know eggs come in more then just brown and white? Most breeds of chickens lay their own colors, from light cream colored to dark olive color it’s like a crayon box.

Let’s me some of the members of our farm these guys and gals are also part of our petting zoo. We have Flemish giant rabbits, New Zealand rabbits, California and standard Rex rabbits these guys are popular choice in the meat rabbit world due to their fast growth some of these guys are ready for butcher by 12 weeks of age or by 5 months they are also great family pets with their calm demeanor. Rex rabbits come in standard or mini but both mini and standard have this amazingly soft fur that feels like cotton balls or silky texture.

We are a new page, I, Christie Edwards am the owner and operator of the traveling farm petting zoo, our mission is to help educate people about farm animals and the different breeds and purposes of them. We save and rehabilitate animals and those who are special or need higher then average care join our petting zoo and become our forever mascots of what we aim to do. On our farm we have: sheep,goats,pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, horses and cows. Our petting zoo can consist of anything but the guineas as they are loud.
