Onto our last week of horse camp …

Don’t worry we can laugh at our poker hands one more time..

We have our own week of vip stable horse camp
Aug 20th-23rd

10-2( times changed a bit due to work conflict )
Arts & crafts
Riding
Possible driving horses
Trail rides and walks
Water play
Games

What to bring
Bagged lunch
Water bottles
Water play clothes or swim clothes
Boots and pants for riding
A white shirt - tie dye - Wednesday
Helmet if you have your own - we have some don’t worry

Friday will be a themed day - campers will pick. We can dress up and dress the horses up as well .

We have space for more if anyone wants to join !

You know you are trying really hard to run a horse camp for weeks at a time and definitely wonder if it’s what the kids want and will want to come back year after year or if it’s worth it..

Then you get a emotional day at camp as it’s the last day for many campers. I mean full of tears, not wanting to get on the bus or leave the gate where the favorite horses stay. But to top it off between the tears and smiles you get a camper who comes running off the bus and said I made you these ! I hope you have a good rest of your summer and give kisses to my favorites and I’ll be back next summer!

You know it’s worth it and will keep on going as long as the kids enjoy it and learn ..

This will be our show Sunday ( weather dependent as we are suppose to get a lot of rain this week)
I was gonna do a mix discipline but got nothing as feed back so we will be ranch and pleasure

I have about 300 bales of 1st cutting I need out of our barn to make room for this years hay

Timothy hay from our own fields
3.50 a bale if you load it
3.75 if I have to help

Do we have any interest in a one day standardbred show nex weekend

It was suppose to be a two day event but our judge can’t come but there is a replacement

We could do halter / showman ship
English and western

I’d really like to get the rest of the hay out of the barn
$4 a bale if you load .. $5 a bale if I have to help

We also have three kittens still needing homes- mom is a great mouser, chipmunks, moles and mice hunter.. how do I know I had all of them in a old backpack she backed them away for her kittens lunches .. I no longer own said pack back lol

No horse show tomorrow
With the chance of storms and it being a holiday weekend many have backed out last second

We will work on another date …

Our next show will be a full standardbred show
Class list to come if I have interest in open classes I will definitely add them in …
July 27th and 28th both western/English and maybe some fun classes
