Beans! He was returned to our rescue only a week after being adopted. This makes our heart hurt so much, but we do love seeing his sweet face again. 

Pigsburgh Squealers Rescue has had so many amazing folks and families adopt pigs from us over the years. Many are now close friends of the rescue with some starting this own pig rescues! Some of our fosters have returned to our rescue due to no fault of their own (foreclosures, family emergencies, divorces) and that is ok. But sometimes pigs are returned because the adopter failed them. We have hundreds of successful adopters since our founding in 2016. Every pig adopted means we have space and resources to help another.

Communication is THE most important thing in animal rescue. We support our adopters at every step of the process, but it is a two-way street. The adopter disregarded all of our advice for Beans's first days and introductions with their other pig. Beans was stressed out and fought with their other pig.

Beans is happy to be back with us and we will do our best to make sure he is loved for the rest of his days.

🚨 Emergency Foster or Adopter Needed for Wounded Stray Pig, Maggots Infested In Eyes 🚨

This precious girl was hit by a car and was found on the side of the road by a good Samaritan she seems to be ok from the car hit but her eyes are extremely infected and infested with maggots and she can't see, the sweet soul of this good Samaritan has been sitting with her and trying to keep her warm and the coyotes away from her it's very cold outside and dropping into the low 30's and she has nowhere to go no food, water and most of all nothing to keep her warm this precious girl truly needs our help tonight before she suffers a much worse fate than what she's already endured so if you have room in your hearts and home please hurry and zoomie on over to Eastern Snouts Pig Adoption and Rehoming and get application in let's ban together and save this precious soul 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I can't help this poor pig. We have no space. We finance everything out of pocket and are struggling ourselves. The pigs never go without they have everything they need. I can no longer speak with this man. HE IS Rude, his ignorance astonishes me! He won't stop posting to our page and harassing us. I had to block him. If anyone can help his poor pig please reach out to him and if you do good luck. I have to bow out gracefully before I get kicked off of here. ❤️
