🐾 Meet Zara: A Sweet, Shy Girl Looking for Her Forever Home 🐾
Zara is a beautiful 2-year-old cat who was surrendered to us with her sister after their owner moved away and left them behind. While her sister quickly found a new home, Zara is still waiting for her chance. She’s a bit shy and would do best in a calm, peaceful environment where she can blossom and show her loving personality.
Zara isn’t aggressive at all, but she tends to run and hide when things get loud or busy. She’s most comfortable exploring and relaxing when the house is quiet—especially during the nighttime when she feels safe. Because of this, we had a hard time getting to know the real Zara while she was at the shelter. Thankfully, her time in a quiet foster home allowed her to come out of her shell, and her foster mom discovered that she’s a total lovebug once she feels secure!
Now that we know Zara’s ideal environment, she’s ready to find her forever home. She would thrive in a quiet space, preferably without dogs or children, where she can feel safe. She would also do well in a home with other cat-friendly cats who can provide her with gentle companionship. Zara would be the perfect lap kitty for an older person or anyone looking for a calm, sweet companion.

This lovely lady has been with us since early June, after being rescued as a stray. Tatiana is the sweetest soul you'll ever meet, with just the right amount of adorable derpiness to melt your heart! ❤️
Currently, she’s enjoying her time in our adult sunroom, making friends with the other kitties and soaking up the sunshine. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who brings a smile to your face, Tatiana is your girl!

This girl exceeds all the requirements to be a wonderful family dog. She LOVES everybody, including children and other animals. And the best part, she's still so young and eager to learn anything you're willing to teach her! The sky is the limit for this girl, but first and maybe the hardest part, she must find a home! She's been waiting for almost 4 months. Yes, 4 whole months! How, you may ask? We have no idea! We are baffled. Maybe her breed mix? Her coloring? The way she sits perfectly in her kennel, tail wagging and eager eyed to catch your attention? Tracy is nothing less than the best advocate for what a "bully breed" should be - 10/10 family dog. ♥️

Beanie, the spriest senior boy you ever did see, is a truly special boy! He is so, so smart, and we can only imagine he was quite the entertaining sidekick in his younger years. He has personality for daaaaays. Like senior dogs do, Bean shows signs of his age. He gets around with no problems at all, but he seems to not have perfect vision. How he has been abandoned in his senior years, when he needs the most love and companionship, is beyond us. Whatever Beans history is, we're here to make sure he has brighter days ahead.

Who doesn't love a sleepy girl? Gemma is ALMOST too lazy to show off her tricks! 😅With some encouragement, she loves her playtime and to pretend she's a pup again, but if she had it her way, she'd spend her days curled up in a big cozy bed. Gemma is such a sweet, gentle girl. She would make a great companion in a slow paced home, as she's happy as can be to slow things down and match your pace.
