Open full time position: Large animal vet assistant

We are needing another full time large animal assistant. Duties would include helping process cattle on farm and in the clinic, operating a cattle chute, stocking vet trucks, and general maintenance. Cattle experience is a must. Ability to show up on time for work is also a must. Pay is according to experience and dependability. Call the clinic and speak to Dr. Parkhurst for more information.

Green grass is here and time to turn out pairs! We purchased a calf chute to more efficiently work the small calves less than 300 pounds. Bring the calves through the clinic on the way to pasture or we can bring the chute to you! Videos in the comments.

If any of our clients feel bad about their dogs being difficult during a nail trim, just know it takes all of us office girls to trim Toby's nails. 😆😆

We will not be able to do any boarding until most likely the end of November. The new kennels we ordered back in the Spring for our clinic boarding room have still not arrived. Sorry for the inconvenience!

The new address is 607 S Henderson Dr, Mount Ayr, Iowa. It is two doors south from our current clinic on the exact same road!
