Humane Society of Morrow County

The HSofMC is a 501(c)(3) organization aiding animals in Morrow County, OH run solely by volunteers Main St. location.

Since 1974 our mission has been to promote animal welfare, relieve suffering and to educate the public. Our Animal Resource Center opened in 2016, our first brick and mortar location ever! We offer community assistance, educational opportunities and showcase adoptables there. Most of our adoptables are fostered in private homes but we do have a full time adoptable at our center that can be viewed

during our regular hours OR by appointment. We pride ourselves in educating the public on the proper care and nutrition of any animal species and work long and hard on the sterilization of dogs and cats. We offer programs to assist with the sterilization of the counties' pets. We welcome any interest in fostering or volunteering at the community shows. Volunteers and foster families need not live within Morrow county to offer assistance but this is subject to review and approval. We offer monthly meetings open to the general public on the 2nd Thursday of each month at our 16 S.

We're grateful for the incredible support our small rural organization receives through social media, which enables us to showcase our adoptable animals and reach a wider audience. This week, we've been touched to hear that people are recommending our group to others seeking to adopt – a testament to the trust and confidence you've placed in us. We want to thank each of you for being part of our journey and for helping us make a difference in the lives of animals in need. Your support is a shining example of the impact we can have when we come together with a shared purpose.

All toll, we raised $1,620.10 at our annual Photos with Santa event this past weekend.

Another happy check-in. Peebles was displaced when her owner died in 2023. Today she is living her best life and enjoying her new scratch pad mom got her this week. Happily ever after is the best ❤️❤️
