Look at this guy!! Biggest dog I've ever met and I'm not even particularly short. Diesel the 172lb Great Dane. I love this big lug! πβ₯οΈ
*drumroll* AFTER! Raven is finishing her three week board and train and just look at the huge difference! She's a calmer, more focused and better mannered dog now. So proud of her! π
I don't normally post full before videos, but felt this one was just too good not to share. π Raven the black lab is completing a three week board and train program, working on, well... ππ
Stay tuned for the after. You'll be amazed. π
If it's not clear here, I love what I do. β₯οΈ
Scooby the dane/mastiff has an interesting way of practicing his stay command ππ€·ββοΈ
Yes, he does it this way every. single. time. ππ But he never breaks his stay! What a big ham! β₯οΈ
Who doesn't love a good before and after transformation?? Rosie the German Shorthaired Pointer was a terror on leash. Zooming in circles, zig zagging, jumping up, lunging and pulling. Her owner could not walk her. Through a LOT of hard work and consistency, we have a totally different dog after two weeks. π
This weekend's puppy social was a big confidence builder for some of our students! Check out Hazel, Boomer, Zeus, Hans and Mars having fun and building social skills! π
This weekend's social with the little pups! Colt, Yuna, Luna, Bodie, Meadow, Winnie and Freyja all got in on the fun and learned lots of play manners, as well as confidence building! π
This group was 84 dogs!
PS.. hope you like baby talk because I simply cannot say hello to puppies in a normal tone of voice. #sorrynotsorry
Max and Tartarus are also heading home tomorrow/Friday! Check out these handsome boys showing off solid stays!
Today was a beautiful day to work on recalls with Diesel, Lilo and Koda who head home tomorrow! ππ
The week-two pups (Max, Mila and Sarge) are showing off their fully learned place commands! β€οΈ 2/3 head home tomorrow! π
Rory working on place π
Week 2
Please excuse the drama queen yelling downstairs because she's upset it wasn't her turn to train π
Bailey has been doing awesome with the stay and place commands! I wish more people would do training with their little dogs, they're a ton of fun to work with and really thrive with the mental workout! π
Bailey is well on her way to reaching her goal of becoming a certified therapy dog. β€οΈ
Week 3/4
Heeling with Kobe and Harper- a huge difference! Great position, focus and excitement to work. When I'm walking with my palms up, I'm just showing off how they stay perfectly in position walking, turning, sitting, even with me not holding the leash. π
Kilo is all around a pretty good boy, but he has one major problem and that's eating rocks π So we are working extra hard on his "Leave-it" command. Also note that I'm not rewarding him for just not grabbing the food, that doesn't count as leaving it in my book if he's still fixated. He's only getting rewarded when be breaks attention and looks to me, which he's doing beautifully. :)
Week 2
Miss Lucy is staying a few extra days to work on some confidence building to overcome nervous tendencies that lead to fear biting. A perfect way of doing this is by working with "scary" obstacles and making conquering them super positive! Here she is doing the mini A-frame, table, bottle pit and tire (which she really struggled with at first!) Also included is video of stay and place! π
