I have been dealing with some personal things (my son was assaulted at school and the video posted online) that required my attention and I have been slacking posting pictures and videos of this litter. I had always thought about keeping our puppies until they were 10 weeks old, just to see if it made a difference in their temperament and training as they grew up and this gave me the perfect opportunity.

We have 2 boys and 2 girls that have been exposed to many things and trained in ways that puppies who left at 8 weeks have not.

They sleep all night, have had extended training from the adult dogs in manners, are adept at stairs and using a doggie door. They come when called (I just yell “PUPPIES!” and they all come running. They are trained to use potty pads, a litter tray and the grass outside. Best of all, they are learning to use their “inside voices”. 🤣

So happy that after posting about our 4 available puppies last night, 3 of them have found homes.

Only 1 puppy remains - I call her Scarlet (because it rhymes with her momma “Charlotte”). She is a sweetie who loves cuddles and kisses and has a bit of schnauzer sass!

Letting them out to play gives me a great opportunity to clean their pen, and gives them some needed exercise. They take a very long nap after afternoon playtime. 🥱😴💤
