I have a 2 year old adult female Pinto hedgehog looking for a forever home. She comes with a full cage set. Tote is 31X20X18 , wheel, hut, bowls, toys, heat lamp and digital thermostat. A small baggie of food til you can get a bag of food. She currently is on fleece bedding. She love live super mealworms. DM me for more information.

What will your hedgie live in? Give a full description including dimensions and toys. Will you provide a wheel for exercise? What other exercise will you give your hedgie? I use 106 qt clear totes with custom drilled holes



How often do you plan on cleaning the cage? What kind of bedding? I use white & colored care fresh ( You can not use Cedar!!!) I personally don’t use pine due to my asthma but it is also an option for bedding as is fleece liners


Will you be willing to trim their nails and bathe as needed?



Will you allow your hedgie to roam around the house? Free roam hedgehogs are not a good idea.
Long hair can and will get wrapped around feet and even boy parts.


Is your hedgehog going to be used for breeding? This will be marked in Hedgie Haven Records that hedgehog will be used for breeding. Should any medical NO problems ever come up and breeding needs to stop you will be contacted. Rescue hedgehogs can not be used for breeding.



Are you willing to care for the hedgehog throughout its entire lifespan, regardless of vet bills or difficulties?

Do you understand that if you should no longer be able to care for your hedgehog that you must rescue it back to Hedgie Haven? There is a form you must sign regarding this before you can leave with your hedgehog. I take this part very serious.

We have rescues to rehome. I male adult albino hedgehog. 5 boy hedgies 3 months old. 2 Algerian dark grey pintos and 3 Algerian dark greys. Mom is an Algerian dark grey but is on a 40 day hold to make sure she is not pregnant. Please DM me if interested or leave a comment.

Hedgie Update ~
Kyungsoo is out and about playing in the PVC pipe doing laps around his cage. Munching away here and there. Hope his photos bring a smile to your face!

Update : Little Kyungsoo is now trusting my hands to be in his cage. He also is eating when I'm standing next to his cage. He still don't like to be handled but will unball and walk around as soon as he is put down.

I one again have a hedgehog! Took in a male rescue yesterday. Meet Kyungsoo . He only needs a wheel ( for some reason I didn’t keep one oops) and a few toys. He is not very social but he will be soon.

I have finally taken on a rescue hedgehog. Her name is Ginger. She was battling bloody p**p. I believe I have it under control with a major change in her diet. She has also learned to love digging in the care fresh bedding and flipping it in her food and water bowls lol
