Sunny needs constant stimulation or he quickly develops nuisance behaviors like stealing household items and chewing on them. To provide healthy past time activities we made a simple puzzle for him to solve with a plastic bottle and his food. Enrichment doesn’t need to be complicated and is the best way to fulfill your dog’s life!

We are teaching Sunny to make eye contact. Direct eye contact is an important aspect of focused training. We want Sunny looking up at our eyes and not the treat bag as he learns to get rewarded. It’s amazing how quickly Sunny learns this new task!

Building basic engagement is a fundamental part of dog training. Sunny is hungry right now so we are using food to add value to our directions. His task is to simply jump on the cooler and get rewarded for it. His success leads to trust we will build every command off of that trust.

Charlee & Blue Bell are close to graduation! Charlee has associated a solid recall with her eCollar. Blue Bell has incredible engagement and loves her PLACE command. Both dogs were jumping up when greeting but have developed a great sit response and correct easily if over stimulation gets the best of them.

Walking Charlee and Blue Bell at the same time can be quite the struggle. They have so much energy and love to try and play together. To get them to focus we do some quick turns and reward eye contact. After a few minutes both dogs are walking nicely!

Blue Bell is training with Rocket today! Bothe dogs are energetic and love to get distracted with play. We are using leashes and obedience commands like LEAVE IT to build engagement with clear communication and accountability. Rewards are always paid as the dogs build a healthy understanding of what’s expected. Great job Blue Bell & Rocket! 🏅🦮🏅
