Bucky is an outgoing, curious, and playful kitten. He likes to watch your every step, especially if it's toward food! He's a purring machine, and always has to be the first in line for cuddles. He's vocal, and enjoys a good head butt when he greets you. He loves toys and chasing his siblings around. He would be a wonderful addition to any home!

Buckeye is a gentleman of a kitten. He even has a "bowtie" marking! He always patiently waits for his turn for cuddles and likes making biscuits on soft blankets while being pet. He loves playing around the cat tree and watching the birds out the window.
He's very social and enjoys playing with his siblings. He would be a great addition to any home!

Good morning staff and students!

A group of us students here at NHS is going to be running a food and supply collection for a local animal rescue here in Naugatuck called Foster and Forever.

The drive will run from 11/12-11/22.

Foster and Forever is a non-profit animal shelter that rescues cats and kittens and helps them find a safe and loving home. Foster and Forever currently have 96 cats in their care.

They depend on our donations to help keep the animals safe.

There will be collection boxes around the buildings located at:

-Main Lobby
-Main Office
-English Department
-Math Department
-Science Department
-Social Studies Department
-Special Services Department
-Applied Ed
-District Office

You can help by donating:

- Fancy Feast Wet Kitten Food
- Iambs Dry Kitten Food
- Fancy Feast Wet Adult Cat Food
- Purina One Adult Dry Cat Food
- Cat Treats (Animal favorites are Churu and Temptations)
- Cat Litter (Clay Clumping is the best for them)

The attached poster includes QR codes that allow people to make donations directly from Chewy and Amazon to Foster & Forever.

We appreciate it if teachers could please share the flyer attached to Google Classrooms.

Anyone can help out by donating to help our local animal shelter!

Yeti is a fully-vetted male love muffin. A good Samaritan rescued him when the only mom he had ever known decided to throw him out and beat him with a broom. The good Samaritan then called one of our volunteers who immediately came to get Yeti. This little guy loves human affection in spite of his traumatic past. He gets along great with other cats and dogs, and would be a great addition to any family. Yeti was born around June 12, 2023, and is currently being fostered in Watertown. He is fixed, is up-to-date on shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV*. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at https://www.fosterandforever.org/ Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24 - 48 hrs.

Meet Fallon! Fallon is the perfect combination of sweet and spunky. This sweet girl can play for hours then crash out with you anywhere you are. Fallon enjoys playing with her sister Anya and the other kitties in the foster home. She’s not a fan of the loud barking from the dogs in the home but is slowly adjusting. Fallon is 4 months old. She has been spayed, microchipped, FIV negative, and has received her first rabies and distemper vaccines. Fallon loves lots of attention, toys, treats, and laying in the sun. She is ready to join you in her forever home now.

Betty is a beautiful cat. Her black and white markings are stunning and unique. She loves spending time on her foster home's window sills with fresh air coming through the screens. Betty is playful, sweet, and always wants to be near her people. She eats and drinks well, and is very good about using her litter box. Betty likes to use her scratching posts, but never scratches furniture -- a huge plus! Betty will make a fabulous addition to any home, but she should be the only cat. Betty was born around October 24, 2022. She is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, has had her rabies and first distemper shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV* All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes.
