As we shut the gate on 2023, we would like to thank all of our customers, friends, and families that helped us grow Casey Rice Performance Horses this year. Without you all none of this would be possible.

Tomorrow we start another year, we cannot be more excited to see what 2024 brings. We pray not only for ourselves, but for you all as well: May the new year welcome endless opportunities and 2024 be a year of blooming possibilities.

We would like to congratulate The Wilcox and Ogden Families on their wins at the TX Best Rope Horse Futurity.

Wood U Play Jacs (Jasper) owned by Cody and Jesse Wilcox trained and shown by Casey Rice won the 2nd round marking a 234.22 and Amateur Heeling Finals with an overall score of 693.86.

CR Light N Tuff (JD) owned by Jeffery Ogden trained by Casey Rice and shown by Cade Rice won Round 2 and the Open Heeling Finals with a composite score of 706.96. JD also placed 4th in the Intermediate Heading Finals shown by Casey Rice.

We would also like to thank all who have helped get to this point and that help us to continue to grow.

We look forward to the upcoming American Rope Horse Futurity

We had the great pleasure and opportunity to show at the 2023 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo AQHA Show.

Team Captain, Casey Rice, placed JE Boonlight Time (Gizmo) 5 yo head horse in the Junior Heading. This was just the second show for Gizmo and we could not be more pleased with his outing.

Up next, Senior Heading. Casey and Docs A Cat defended their title and were crowned Champion Senior Head Horse. From ranch rodeos to youth rodeos and everything in between, Docs A Cat gives his all. He knows when to turn it up or tone it down. Words can never express what this horse means to us.

Congratulations to all the exhibitors and owners, looking forward to the next one.

As 2022 comes to an end, we can all agree it was yet another challenging year for many, but none the less a great year.

For Casey Rice Performance Horses, 2022 will always be a memorable one, it’s our first one! Thank you to all of our customers throughout the year.

We would like to congratulate all the trainers and owners showing horses today at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo AQHA show.

Special congratulations and thank you to our clients Weldon Spann, Travis Schubert, Tony Lampo, and Susan & Matlock Rice for trusting us with the success of their equine athletes.

Today’s success would not be possible without our show help, Tate Kirschenslager and Ty Arnold both roped phenomenal all day.

We had the best loper in the barn although he didn’t lope lol! Thank you Poppalock, Molly and Mitchell for having all the horses show ready, but most importantly thank you for all the advice, knowledge, and love along the way and for continuing to support us as we chase our dreams and follow in your footsteps.
