Starr Vaughn Fall Dressage Show was a big success for Fox Hollow Dressage!!!

Talia Naarduzzi took Cali down centerline (for an “8”) after just 24 rides on her and debuted at Third Level earning Talía’s USDF Bronze Medal 🥉 this weekend!!!! I am so proud of this team!! Cali is such a professional but you definitely have to still ride and Talía’s riding has come so far very quickly with Cali! 7’s on the changes 🎉 and some things to improve on, but I’m so proud of this team and the care, thoughtfulness, dedication, and attitude Talía has couldn’t be a better match for Cali!! I am so impressed by how you fit coming out to Nevada City in on the evenings and on weekends in your busy schedule working and in Graduate School , you are always so focused and driven, I love working with you and Cali! Congratulations on your Bronze , what an achievement 🥉🥳

Ema Chapman and Lucky competed at their first rated competition in front of two “S” Judges in Opportunity Training Level Test 1 to a 66+% and Opportunity Training Level Test 2 to a 68.4% for two blue ribbons! I am so incredibly proud of this team and how far they have come since mid summer when I began working with them - huge commitment and major pay off for this kid!!! This is a testament to making sure the fundamentals are solid and taking a whole horse approach from hoof care, to saddle, bridle, bit, feed, everything working together to help the horse and rider be their best! Congratulations Ema and Lucky, I am so so so so proud of you both!!!

Thank you Marijke Ellert Cjf Apf-i for bringing out the best in both of these horses, I don’t know what we would do without you!

Thank you Custom Saddlery and Jackie Quijano as always, but especially for saving the day this week with a new Custom Envy for Ema and Lucky to shine in!

And thank you to the support of Talía’s family Deanne Narduzzi and Mario, and Ema’s mom Donna Chapman, we couldn’t do what we do with out you! Lastly, thank you to my other clients who came out to watch the show and support and cheer on Ema and Talía this weekend, teamwork is what it’s all about!!

So incredibly proud of this team!! Lisa and Hobbes have come so far, now schooling flying changes, shoulder-in, renvers, travers, leg yields, lengthening, collection, and raising their standards in transitions, sitting trot, self carriage, and responsiveness to Lisa’s aids! I absolutely love working with this team and watching their progress!! No fair weather riding here - Lisa and Hobbes are both game to train in the rain 🌧 nothing stops this pair!
