While celebrating the Easter Holiday, remember little paws can get into all sorts of mischief.
Make sure to follow these guidelines for a memorable and safe celebration!
*Flowers
Easter Lilies are a leading cause of toxic poisoning to pets at this time of year, but they aren't the only type of plant that is toxic to your pet.
If you are not sure, you can look up the plant/flower in the ASPCA poison control plant library. https://www.aspca.org/.../anim.../toxic-and-non-toxic-plants
*Easter Grass
Plastic easter grass popular in easter baskets can cause life-threatening situations that can require surgery to correct.
*Chocolate
Little easter eggs are everywhere at this time of year. But if ingested, Chocolate can cause heart abnormalities and even seizures.
*Sweeteners
Artificial sweeteners such as Xylitol which is used more and more in candies and gums can cause dangerously low blood sugar and/or liver failure.

We have a few resident cats at the clinic that are looking for homes. Oscar (grey/white), Junior (Grey/white tabby) and Oren (white/bl) are 3 male cats from the same litter, around one year old. They are neutered, tested, and up to date on vaccines. They have been living at the clinic since they were trapped as strays when they were kittens. Happy New Year!

As we go into 2024, we wanted to send out some reminders and updates here at Circle of Life.

Because of your glowing recommendations on social media, Dr. Holland has been seeing hundreds of new patients. We want to make room for all our patients, but please understand that sick appointments have priority. Make sure to schedule nail trim, a**l gland, and routine appointments in advance, as we are not able to squeeze these in same day anymore.

Due to an increase in pricing across many of our vendors, there will be an increase in pricing on laboratory testing, vaccines, and other services. Dr. Holland does her best to keep pricing fair to our clients while also making sure that her time and expertise are compensated for.

Great news! Dr. Jill Kulig is back at the clinic on a very part-time basis. She will be helping ease the load of appointments from time to time over the next few months.

Please be aware of our hours. Even though early morning or evening hours are listed on our website, they are strictly for medication or food pickups. Typically, Dr. Holland sees routine appointments until 3:00pm during the week. She also sees appointments on Saturdays if morning/afternoon hours do not work for you during the week. On Tuesday and Thursday mornings, we are in surgery, so it is best to call or stop in after 12:00 on those days.
