It is with a sad heart that I share the passing of Mike Neumann. He worked faithfully with us from approx 2007-2009 and again approx Nov 2020 - 5/22/24.

There will be a memorial potluck Wednesday 8/19 at 6 pm at FHS. Casual dress.

The magnificent Bald Eagle sparked my interest in birding. Recently I had the opportunity to photograph two active nests with 3 chicks each from the same trail. It is encouraging to see the population increasing. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the past 15 years.

Thank you to Jaron Verheij and Dutch Dressage for another amazing experience for Silva and I!
Thursday and Friday at WEC we enjoyed the results of our hard work starting to coming together Thursday winning our F-3 class with 64.86 and Friday two judge average 63.6 for 2nd.

Silva and I on our most recent adventure. We continue learning so much 🤠. While there remain things to work on Silva settles right in to her stall eating and drinking well. She was really relaxed about so much of the environment this time. Flowers, bells, whistles, the jumpers timer alarms and most of the crowd commotion seemed to go unnoticed. We had some nice moments in our tests showing encouraging progress. Thank you Jaron Verheij Dutch Dressage Inc. for taking superb care of Silva and training both of us, to Margaret Traendly for 3 days of helping us get ready and stay clean. Steve Perrin for your support and covering the heavy lifting and Connie for coming out and these cool photos.

Easy keeper with a sweet and loving personality, ready and wanting to go to work!
Cardinal has traveled from Missouri to his current residence at Feather Hill Stables in PA where he spent the summer in training.
When I take Cardinal out, I know we are going to have a nice pleasant time. Trail rides are fun and relaxing whether he is alone or in a larger group of horses. This handsome boy has been a blast navigating wooded trails, steep rocky hills, and crossing water. He has a full set of shoes on and is ready to cover further ground and explore more places!
Very playful in nature, Cardinal is easy to catch and saddle, and thoroughly enjoys all grooming and attention. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate him about a 3 in temperament (1 being very calm, 10 highly spirited). Standing at just under 14.2 hands, he is the type you don’t always have to push when riding him, but is easy to stop with a bit more woah than go. Cardinal has no problem loping out freely under saddle with his rhythmic and fluidly smooth gate. That being said, he could be made hot if things get over done. He also needs practice holding his sitting fox trotter gait, and at this time it is more comfortable to post on him at the trot. If not saddled for an extended period of time, he might crow hop at first and should be lounged before riding to let that out.
Truly a head turner with his color and conformation, Cardinal is super willing to go anywhere you ask and take on challenges or new things. He is the perfect age to go any feasible direction. While still a little green, with exposure, consistent saddling, and exercise this horse is really a gem. Best suited for an advanced beginner rider or above, we encourage anyone seriously interested to come meet Cardinal and give him a try! His current owner is moving out of state and cannot take him along. 6,500 or best offer for a quick sale to a loving, happy, and healthy home.

Madressilva MC aka Silva and I on a road trip to Gladstone and Sussex NJ. We learned a lot, earned 3 Seconds and our 1st First Level score, and Silva got a good feel for what it’s like to be on tour for a week. I love this picture the photographer captured showing my supporting husband, videographer and groom in the background. Thank you Steve Perrin for a fun week.

Still looking for his person who is also a trainer….Espejo ADF aka JOE (NOBLE DEL C x TB TIMIDA) is a prue bred Andalusian stallion that has never been registered. (We do NOT have the signatures required for his registration) His bloodlines are old Cuetarea and Urquijo. He has the shimmer gene of the old style Andalusian. Owner says Joe is approx 15.1-15.2 H tall and 13 yrs old, and has been classically long lined, lunged, lightly ridden years ago. Joe has had the same owner most of his life. She says once he bonds with someone he will try to please. Our experience with Joe tells us he is not a bad horse he has just lacked training and handling for a long time. His potential is completely untapped and going to waste. I am eager to place this horse in a new home qualified to give him the handling and training he needs. This is a must sell situation and his purchase price will be applied to his board bill.
