We microchip all of our puppies through AKC reunite, I prepay enrollment and register the microchip for the new owner (which I'm getting ready to do today for our current litter). I wanted to share this nice fact vs fiction article about microchips that PetLink created. Two of our adult dogs have PetLink microchips. Many great stories are out there of how having a microchip helped lost pets get reunited with their families. 🐾🐾❤️

There are a lot of rumors floating around the internet as to what microchips do and do not do for your pets. We’ve put together some common misconceptions

The last few weeks have been EXTRA busy around the farm. We've had 8 of the 11 puppies leave for their new homes. I have already received some nice updates. We have 2 more puppies leaving soon and 1 male puppy available.

We got a nice update from Dana about Aurora. She's a RipxRoxanne puppy born 6/28/23. ♥️ Oh and Baloo will be joining this family!
"Aurora (We call her Rory) is doing great! She has really grown up in the last few months. She has a lot of s***k and loves to play. She was spayed in mid February and did great with her recovery. We had her in training and for her AKC puppy star certification. If we get another puppy we will be taking them both to training. Rory really enjoys it and takes it very seriously!! Anything for a treat!!"

Rip & Willow's litter born on Easter is doing great! They were 5 weeks old on Sunday 5/5. Puppy selection with all of our deposit families is now complete. We met with some great folks over the last few weeks. We are always blessed with such wonderful people who choose us for a puppy. Meanwhile down on Johnsons farm...
We had a ewe reject a lamb this weekend. Our Great Pyrenees knew exactly what to do. The lamb seemed to favor Wrangler as it's surrogate. ♥️
*No worries, the lamb is being bottle fed now.

I got a nice update from Yuki's human Dad Bob yesterday. Yuki is a WranglerxWillow puppy, born 10/11/21. She was the smallest "runt" of the litter.
Some highlights from my update from Bob below...
"Yuki is a wonderful addition to the family. And she stands about table height at her back. She weighs in at roughly 100, but wouldn't sit still long enough on the vets scale. Between 100 and 105. Health wise, no issues thus far. She is one of the sweetest dogs ever with people. And, she absolutely loves our young grandchildren. Yuki is a great protector. I will never fear an intruder with her in the house. Outside in the yard, she owns the neighborhood and all of the neighbors love her.
I also take her to daycare a couple of days a week, where she gets to run a lot and plays with other dogs her size.
She is very alert and doesn't miss a thing. As I said, she owns the neighborhood and tries to tell that to our neighbors. Oh, and every squirrel in the neighborhood knows she doesn't like squirrels!"

We all get busy with life! So anytime one of our Pyrfectly Pyrenees puppy families take time to update us or share a picture...well it just makes my day. ❤️

"It started out here with Sadie looking after Bauer and showing him the ropes on our pasture. But eventually things change, and the young seem to look out for the old."

Spring time is always busy around the farm! We welcomed Willow's litter on Easter, added chickens to the farm, and we've had about 75 lambs born this spring.

We got a call from Harleys family yesterday. Seems Diamond brand dog food is getting scarce in Pennsylvania too. I read they are having a hard time keeping up with demand. Thanks Ken for checking in and for sending us some great pictures. Harley is a WranglerxWillow puppy,born 10/11/21.

Recent Bauer update, a RipxRoxanne puppy born 6/28/23. ♥️
"Bauer got fixed a couple weeks ago at the vet. He weighed in at 91 lbs at the time of his appointment and spent some good time indoors after his procedure.Bauer also experienced his first official tornado drill yesterday evening. We received a late warning and pulled the dogs into the basement. Everything is fine here, the toughest part was getting both he and Sadie down the walkout basement steps at the same time.But once we got past the steep stairway, everyone had a good time riding the storm out 🌪️"
