What a great video showing how the pulsing increased as soon as the coil moved over the area where this horse was bit. There was a little bit of swelling where the scratch marks were.
Seeing Wild Fire never gets old. He sure was getting very sleepy during this full body session.
Used the Magna Wave on my own horse today at a Mounted Shooting. I worked her poll to try and relax her (It's a "calming" point) as she can get a bit wound up. I only did it before stages 1 & 2 and she did well. I decided to not do it before the last stage because it seemed like an easy run. Well, she was definitely full of herself.
I may test my theory next month and work her before each stage and see how she does.
Had a session with this little sweetheart a few weeks ago. She decided to try and go under a pipe fence. Just because you are little doesn't mean you can do it.
Large Wings-Neck
Sleepy, sleepy Lola. Although you do not see any muscle reaction in the neck the PEMF therapy is still doing it's job. This sweet girl started having issues moving her back end. She walks like she is drunk. The vet feels she injured her neck or something with her spine. Possibly putting her neck through the fence and pulling back too fast. Along with other recommendations, the vet also suggested Magna Wave sessions to help with any possible swelling that may be present along the spine. She is one very tough girl.

Large Wings-Back
Another example of the Large wings at work. Loved using them today. All three horses scheduled today were very relaxed and sleepy as I moved it down their necks working both sides at the same time.
Just to clarify......Magna Wave PEMF does not shock it is a magnetic pulse that increases the oxygen in the blood. Being able to dial the intensity up or down allows us to get deeper in the muscles but only as high as the horses comfort level is.

Hope
Oh Hope....she sure LOVES her Magna Wave. Yawning and yawning as well as sleeping during her session today. Love seeing this reaction.

New large Wings attachment
And here it is.........the newest attachment for Platinum Pulse....the large Wings. It allows me to work down both sides of the horse at the same time with the same intensity. I also have the ability to compare reactions on each side more easily.
The beautiful Hope was my model today...LOL
She LOVED it!

Magna Wave Impressions
Here's a great laugh....Wild Fire is getting a Magna Wave session and his neighbor is doing his best Magna Wave impression...LOL
Pretty funny!

Wild Fire-trotting
Wild Fire's video taken 2 weeks ago. He has bowed tendons in both front legs and this was after about a month of Magna Wave sessions. Hard to believe that he is 27!
Yes.... I do believe that Wild Fire is giving his stamp of approval for Magna Wave. He Loves it!

Wild Fire
This handsome boy is is a 27 year old Arabian named Wild Fire. He has been on stall rest for the last month as he bowed tendons on both front legs. He was laying down most of the time so another of my clients at this barn suggested that his owners call me. He has had 4 sessions over the last 10 days and this video was his first walk in a month and after just 3 sessions. My client, his owners and others at the barn have all agreed that since we started Magna Wave sessions he has been standing a lot more and moving around more in his stall.

Diesel's story
I made a video collage of Diesel's progress and here is the whole story.
The first weekend in September Diesel was found, by his owner, with a severely swollen, right rear fetlock. Although there was no puncture wounds the vet said the extreme swelling was indicative of a rattlesnake bite. Three weeks after his injury he was not improving and was, literally, walking on the tippy toe of his hoof. She was doing what she could and the vet told her to walk him but that was not doing much good since he wouldn't put his hoof flat. That's when I was contacted as her last hope for Diesel.
Session #1: Was Sept 24th and he received a full body session having reaction pretty much all over. She had his leg wrapped so I treated over that working down to the fetlock. The whole time he would pick his leg up and put it down on the tip of the hoof. She said that's what he does because it hurts. I also did extra time along his spine and back end due to how he was having to carry himself. Walking back to his stall seemed a little less labored but it was still slow with very short strides.
Two days after 1st session...he was placing his hoof flat! He would shift his weight onto the right, briefly, but he was trying to put weight on it.
The day after his 2nd session: She took him to a very sandy round pen where he was walking pretty good. He was stepping toe first, still an enlarged fetlock & still limping but a tremendous improvement in just one week.
Session #4: Diesel had a pretty solid 30 minute walk which he was feeling. He was picking up & putting down his leg much like the first day I saw him. I worked his fetlock first, whole body with extra time down his spine & his whole back end as well as down the injured leg.
The day AFTER session #4: He was back in the sandy round pen, loped a little on his own and laid down to roll. The first time his owner has seen him lay down in any capacity since he was injured.
Session #5: On this day I got to see him in the round pen. UNBELI
Update #2 on Diesel:
Remember...4 weeks ago I met him and he was walking on his right rear tippy-toe. Not wanting to put his hoof flat.
Well, our "Rattlesnake" boy was feeling FABULOUS today! Took this video before he received his Magna Wave session today. How amazing it is to see him wanting to trot and lope. Feeling quite feisty and so happy. We still have a limp on the right rear but oh the improvement he has made since I met him one month ago. Things are looking up for him and we couldn't be happier!
Update #1 on Diesel's story.
Diesel had his fourth Magna Wave session on 10-15. We can only do once a week due to our schedules. When I arrived he was picking up and putting down his injured foot like the first day I saw him. BUT, he had a 30 minute walk so he was feeling it. After I was done working him on this day, he was relaxed and not picking up his leg. He was noticeably much more comfortable.
The next day he was taken to enjoy a nice big round pen where he not only loped a little but he laid down and rolled. He has not been spotted laying down in any fashion since he was hurt. This was all wonderful news.
This video was from the next day where he was taken back to the round pen for more fun.
I still wish we had a picture of him standing/walking on his tip toe. When I first met him he would not put his right rear flat on the ground. This is amazing. Still have some time to go but this is great progress!
Diesel's story:
This sweet boy had a run in with a rattle snake in September. Although, they didn't find puncture wounds it's believed that his right rear fetlock was nicked by the fang. His fetlock has stayed swollen (rock hard) and he has been, literally, walking on the tippy toe of his hoof.
I treated him on Sept 24th (3 weeks after the injury) doing his entire body and going back to the rear end as well as treating his entire rear leg. This boy was LOVING his treatment. Two days later he started putting his whole hoof down....FLAT. Still limping, but walking much better. He also still had swelling in his fetlock but it is softer (not rock hard).
He got his 2nd treatment a week later (Oct 1st). I worked his left shoulder, along his back, his SI and down the right rear leg. During the session he would shift his weight to his right foot for only a moment but each time he does he's helping to stretch his tendons and regain flexibility of that fetlock. To see him putting his hoof flat was wonderful. The video below was taken the day after his 2nd treatment. Remember......a week before he was literally walking on his right, rear tippy toe and taking very short steps.
Such wonderful and positive results. I can't wait to work on Diesel again this Sunday. Definitely hoping for more progress. He's such a sweet boy!
Had a horse that managed to get his hind leg over the rail of his corral. Owner said his whole hind end was off the ground. They somehow managed to get him free. He was swollen underneath around his groin area. He also had a slight limp of the left rear with a little swelling.
He received his first Magna Wave session the day after and was very unsure of it. The intensity was fairly low but I worked his whole body then came back to his groin and leg.
On day 2: He was more receptive to the session and I was able to increase the intensity working the groin and leg.
On day 3: You could see much less swelling and he completely LOVED his session. (see video...LOL)
Worked Annie today with the Magna Wave. She LOVES it especially when we work her poll. That is the calming acupressure point and it sure works on her.
A quick clip of Annie enjoying her treatment today. Got some sleepy eyes going on there.
Got to work on this pretty girl today with my Magna Wave PEMF machine. Notice how there is more reaction on the left compared to the right. She goes to the left barrel first but the reason that she would be a bit more sensitive on that side is, most likely, that the left rear is working harder as she makes her 2 turns to the right. This is because the outside leg has to swing around and take a longer step.
I worked another horse here today that had the opposite reaction....more sensitive on the right than the left and that mare turns the right barrel first meaning two to the left.
Last week I worked a 3rd mare who was more sensitive on the right than the left and she ALSO makes one turn to the right barrel and two to the left.
I recall my MW practitioner that worked on my horse remind me that when I exercised my horse at home or warmed up at an event to go the same amount of times around each direction at each gait. This helps keep your horse evenly muscled on both sides.
