Found this guy playing chicken on the road this morning while out on my morning calls.
Have a great and safe day everyone. And remember to look both ways! 😉

This post was meant to share a intimate look into a day in the life of a veterinarian after having to sacrifice one life to save another and only having seconds to make that choice. This is after I cried with the farmer in the field and after we had cried happy tears about the foal being so strong and ornery he kicked me in the belly when I was feeding him his first meal.
This is a reflection. A post of brutal honesty. A post that people need to be aware that even the strongest people breakdown and have to show what is inside. A post other veterinarians need to see. A post that students that want to be veterinarians need to see. Awareness is important. For ourselves and for others.
I assure you that our business and our doctors and staff are as strong as ever and determined to care for our treasured clients and patients.
We are humbled by the outreach we have received from our clients and beyond. Your love and support are unparalleled.
We are so excited to share the future with all of you! ♥️***

God Bless you. And we will continue doing everything we can for those of you who have sho
