We are not animal control, this responsibility lies with the Nocona Police Department, please contact them with any animal control issues @ (940) 825-3281 . We are not a vet clinic, there are two vet clinics in Nocona, Cross Timbers Veterinary Clinic @ (940) 825-3314 and Carpenters Veterinary Clinic @ (940) 825-8509. We encourage all pets owner to establish and maintain a relationship with a full

service veterinarian. Our preferred contact method is thru Facebook Messenger, we have several admins who monitor this throughout the day.

This is our last 24 hours intake. Those new kennel we are so proud of are full. It’s not just our community, it’s everywhere. We will just continue doing our best and wishing we could do more.

Three pups dumped on 82. Archie, Edith, and Gloria. We are guessing about three months old. Very frightened poor pups. First vet appointment is Sept. 4

This handsome guy is Julian. He has been an indoor dog and is a really good boy. He is neutered, up to date on shots and house trained. He was adopted from Noah’s Ark and sadly is now back in a shelter.

Today’s kitten intake the black and white are girls and orange are boys. They were born April 13 and Kelly’s Wildlife has been caring for them so they are very healthy.

Thursday sept 5 save the date and donate to your favorite nonprofits

Our goal for sept. 5 is to raise 10,000.00 to enable us to work with local vets and provide affordable and accessible vet care with emphasis on spay and neuter. No more unwanted litters of puppies and kittens.

We are so proud of our new kennels and wanted to show off.

Maud and Slate moved into our new luxury suites and are enjoying the extra space and larger houses. Local animal lovers made these new kennels possible. Roofs for shade and protection from weather and concrete floors for more sanitation.

We assist with spay and neuter thru our donations. We do all we can but our funds are limited so we appreciate your consideration when we can not accommodate all requests. We will do all we can as long as funds last .

Anchovy wants to remind you texomagives is Thursday Sept. 5 and lucky paws is hoping to win the prize for most donations in the 9:00 to 10:00 time. We are in a category with nonprofits of a similar size. This involves only online donations. One hundred percent of our funds go to helping homeless animals in our community.

Bruce would be a wonderful companion if someone would take the time to gain his trust. He is very leery of strangers but sweet as can be with all of us regular volunteers. He views strange humans as a possible danger until
they show him otherwise.

Thanks to local animal Lovers contributing we were able to double the number of exercise runs open for the dogs to experience enrichment activities and socialize.
