Just five days until the online farmers market opens on Sunday, July 7 at 6pm!

This has been a tough spring/early summer for MN farmers, with heavy rains causing severe flooding and other weather-related issues delaying crops. Right now is a better time than ever to support your local, resilient farmers as they go into peak growing season.

We will have artisan sourdough, flower bouquets, produce, maple syrup, a selection of meats, gorgeous mushroom varieites, mushroom pate, hand-crafted soaps (pork tallow, goats milk and more!), cheese and more.

Order online Sun-Wed and pick up your order on Friday afternoon (or Saturday at the Mill City Farmers Market) from one of our gracious drop site hosts. Spread the word!

We're proud to support Karla Cuatro and Wyatt Dufour for their school contest, Kids in the News!🗞️ This was a special project where the local 5th grade students at our schools create an Ad for a local business in the area. Karla and Wyatt both attend school at Sunrise River Elementary in North Branch and are in Ms. Kolstad's class.

They did a really great job creating Ads for Peterson's! ❤️✏️
We love how they turned out! 😍

Their advertisements for Peterson's NB Mill are featured in the latest County News Review section, Kids in the News.

For this contest, they learned about the role of advertisements in the newspaper and elements of advertisement design. Students made sure their Ad focused on a few services or products a business offers, contained essential information, was eye-catching, and used quality writing skills.

The winners of the contest who created the most creative and detailed Ads will receive prizes.
