Here at The 8 Paws Bakery, we have specifically chosen the ingredients that we use to hand craft our treats for their nutritional value & health benefits for your pups. Healthy treats that still taste delicious! Aside from the Chicken Claws, I have personally tasted all of our treats, to ensure that the taste & texture are appealing, to even the pickiest of pups! Like most people, we see our dogs , Rocco & Sophie, not just "dogs" but as important members of our family. With most people being aware of the foods that they eat & wanting to eat as healthy as possible (most of the time), don't our four legged, furry family members deserve the same? We here at The 8 Paws Bakery feel that ALL dogs do!
*Chicken Claws- They are loaded with calcium, magnesium, sulfur, sodium, potassium, glucosamine, keratin & they are rich in collagen. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body & it provides strength to bones, ligaments, tendons & aides in healing skin wounds. They also contain Chondroitin Sulfate, which is a complex carbohydrate, that helps cartilage retain water. Our Dehydrated Chicken Claws are a tasty treat that you pups will LOVE & the health benefits are amazing!
*Pumpkin Puree- It's packed with beta-carotene, Vitamins A, C & E, (important antioxidants for repairing the cells from damage) Loaded with potassium, magnesium & iron. Pumpkin also contains fiber & aides in digestion & helps relieve intestinal distress.
*Blueberries-A true Superfood! Packed with antioxidants & phytoflavinoids, high in vitamin C & potassium. Lowers the risk of heart disease & cancer, also an anti-inflammatory.
*Cranberries-Another Superfood due to their high nutrient and antioxidant content. Research has linked the nutrients in cranberries to a lower risk of UTI's, the prevention of certain types of cancer, improved immune function & decreased blood pressure.
*Spinach-Rich in vitamins A,C & K, magnesium, iron & manganese. Benefits eye health & reduces oxidative stress.
*Zucchini-High in antioxidants, Vitamin A, B6, Contains zeaxanthin & several other compounds that can help in preventing oxidative stress, aides in digestion, helps to reduce blood sugar levels & helps improve eye health.
*Cinnamon-It has anti-viral, anti-bacterial & anti-fungal properties, it contains antioxidants & is a probiotic that may improve gut health, reduces blood pressure, lowers blood sugar & relieves digestive discomfort.
*Carrots-Highly nutritious, a good source of beta carotene, fiber, vitamin K1, potassium & antioxidants.
*Sweet Potatoes-Also highly nutritious, a great source of fiber, vitamins & minerals. They promote gut health, support healthy vision, help to support the immune system & enhance healthy brain function.
*Unrefined Organic Coconut Oil- About 1/2 of the fatty acids in coconut oil are Lauric acid, which is good at killing bacteria, viruses & fungi (externally) When ingested, it reacts with enzymes to form a monoglyceride called Monolaurin, which is great at killing pathogens.. Both of these substances have been shown to kill bacteria Staphylococcus aureus & the yeast, Candida albicans, which is a common source of yeast infections of any kind.
*Coconut Flour- The type of fat in coconut flour is called a medium chain triglyceride & may provide some health benefits including supporting healthy cholesterol, anti-inflammatory benefits. It's naturally gluten-free & May help improve digestion due to it's high fiber content, which is significantly higher than wheat flour.
