In order to continue providing the best care for your best friend, we need to PAWS our daycare services starting Monday, January 31 as a result of staffing shortages.

Daycare will be available for PRE-PAID DAYCARE PACKAGE MEMBERS ONLY Monday, February 14 through Thursday, March 10.

Our boarding services will remain OPEN at this time.

Searching for a part time (full time hours possible) employee to join our team at Paws Pet Resort, a pet boarding/daycare facility located in Castle Rock.

Experience with dogs, doggy daycare, boarding, animal rescue, cats, or dog training preferred but we are willing to train the right hard working candidate with a pawsitive attitude.

Patience and Empathy (and the ability and willingness to pick up dog p**p) are the MOST IMPORTANT skills needed for this position. Working with dogs can be extremely frustrating some days and we need employees who can maintain their composure no matter the situation.

Shifts can vary but possible shifts include:
Monday-Friday 6:30 am-7pm
Saturday 7am-7pm
Sundays 7am-11am and 3pm-7pm

Customer Service

The right candidate will have knowledge of or be willing to be trained in...

~The human body language and attitude needed to manage large groups of dogs
~Comfortable handling all dog breeds and sizes
~Dog body language or behavior
~How to manage play groups of up to 15 dogs
~Basic dog obedience, enrichment, and training
~Sanitizing and cleaning multiple rooms and wire kennels per day
~Feeding up to 20 dogs per day and night
~Respect for all dogs in our care as well as all employees on the team.
~Canine basic baths and nail trims
~Physically able to stand for 6-8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand outside in playgroups with dogs for a majority of your shift in cold and warm temperatures.

The right candidate also has the potential to be trained for the front desk which would involve taking phone calls, making reservations, checking out customers, administrative responsibilities, etc.

Job Type: Part-Time (potential to be full-tme)

Pay: $13.50+ per hour depending on experience.

MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING ROTATING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.
MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD.

Happy Holidays from all of us here at Paws Pet Resort! We tried to snap as many pics as we could of our Christmas Campers so we could share their holiday spirit with you. Just a reminder we will not be open for daycare December 31st or January 1st. Pick ups and drop offs for boarding will be from 8 am to 10 am on December 31st but we will not be doing drop offs and pick ups on January 1st. Please remember to stay kind and grateful this holiday season 🎄💕 We can't wait to see you all next year ✨🎉🎇🎆

Hello Paws friends and family! Below we have included a list of our accurate holiday hours for the remainder of 2021. Due to staffing, we will only be accepting pick-ups and drop-offs from 8 am-10 am on both Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. On Christmas Day and New Years Day, we will not be accepting any drop offs or pick-ups. Our staff will be here to take care of the campers on the days we are not open to the public. Goodbyes are always so hard. These boys have grown up with us here at PAWS. They could play with the little dogs or run with the big dog pack. They were always ready for a cuddle sesh or a dip in the pool. Everyone here at PAWS loves these dogs like they were our own. To say we will miss them is an understatement. PAWS won’t be the same without our sweet Stanley and our fearless Franklin. Best of luck with your new endeavors boys. 💙💙💙

We have another new basset to add to our pack! This is Fred and today was his first day here with us. Maisey our resident basset showed him the ropes today!
