Pets can overheat and get dehydrated quickly. Ensure they have plenty of clean water and a shady spot to rest when outdoors for extended periods. Dogs cool off by panting, but they struggle in humid conditions. It might be safer to keep them indoors when it's hot and humid. Walk pets during cooler times, like early morning, and keep them indoors with AC during hot and humid weather. Stay safe and enjoy the summer!

Even on mild days, the temperature inside a parked car can quickly rise to dangerous levels, putting your furry friends at serious risk of heatstroke or worse. Noise aversion can affect over 1/3 of dogs and we want to make sure you have an opportunity to talk about this with our veterinarians. As we are in the heart of thunderstorm season and the Fourth of July is near, we wanted to remind you of the options we have available to ease anxiety in your pet. Please call us to schedule an appointment for your dog to discuss your concerns with one of our veterinarians.

The hospital will be closing at 12 pm this Saturday June 1st, due to our parking lot being repaved. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes; however we are unable to accommodate any parking or admittance into the building during this time. We will have our normal 8 am to 6pm hours on Friday May 31st and Monday June 3rd.
