Meet Sophie! A beautiful, energetic 9 month old English Cream Golden Retriever, Sophie has just started her obedience training with us. She is shown here successfully navigating the puppy tunnel, such a fun confidence building exercise! Sophie learns quickly and her handlers, Alicia and Mike, already notice progress after just one week! Stay tuned, more to come!
This dog came in six weeks ago, adjusting to a new home, anxious, shy, and with terrible leash manners. Now he is so much better, the sweetest, happiest pup ever. I have been lucky to work with him, and his dedicated family. So just one more post for Dozer. Happy, friendly, and kind of adorable.❤️🐾
Another pup building confidence with new obstacles! Teddy makes his appearance at the end of the puppy tunnel, fully extended, with two 90 degree bends! Congrats to Teddy!
Sunday was such a nice day to be outdoors! Here we have Eric teaching Teddy to walk politely by his side, and sit when Eric stops. It looks pretty good for a first try!
And here we have Jax, who brought his whole family!
He was such a sweet dog that I paid more attention to him than to his costume
Dozer, a soon to be graduate of Foundation Obedience, also with a cowboy on his back (!), Scarlett, a graduate of our Therapy Dog Program as a reindeer, and Raina and Xara who came as a matching set of dinosaurs.
So much fun!
And here we have Toffee, with a cowboy on her back, and Nova, as a bubble bath, both long term, loyal clients.
Our first Annual Halloween Parade is a WRAP! Thank you to all participants! There so many great costumes, and the dogs were not only well behaved, dogs and humans had fun! There are several short clips, showing off costumes. Here we go with some clients, and members of the community,
Odin, the bat dog, Nigel as a pickle ball player, Peaches, the Queen Bee, and Lily, the K-9 Police Dog! More videos coming!
This short video shows our client, Freja, practicing for trick or treaters on Halloween. When the doorbell rings, Freja has been trained to run to her platform, and quietly stay there until she is released. So much better than barking and rushing the door! Great work by Freja and her handler, Hilary!

Here is Piper showing her skills at navigating Cavaletti poles, during a session of our Canine Conditioning program. Cavaletti poles are used to train dogs (and horses) to improve their strength, flexibility, and coordination. Canine conditioning is helpful for any puppy with poor posture, or a sloppy sit, and is also an important foundation for any canine sport. Currently offering Fit Dog Levels 1, and 2 to interested handlers and companion dog owners.
