Century Silhouette Farm Century Silhouette Farm has been owned by Fran Lescovich for over 30 years. The property is spacious and includes rolling grass fields with an amazing view.

Beginning November 1, 2013 Century Silhouette Farm will offer full and partial board. There is individual and group turnout, a 100 x 200 lighted riding arena, a large tack room and a heated lounge. Each horse receives individual, specialized care. It's a friendly, professional facility where all disciplines are welcomed. Riding instruction is available. The owner lives on the premises. The barn renovation is moving along nicely! Work in the ring began today so will be out of commission for a few days. New windows and doors project is now in the front. Wash stalls are next!

The farm renovation begins tomorrow! This is a large project and it will be wonderful once complete. Dave and/or Skip will let us know where the crew will be working and we (horse and human) will do our best to stay out of their way. Horses may be in different stalls/turnouts/grass fields as needed. I will try to let everyone know daily. Parking may be a little tricky but we will get it figured out ❤

Wonderful Pony Ride day at Century Silhouette Farm . Pictures to follow but first I just want to thank these two amazing horses and their wonderful owners. These horses carried around beginner riders with the most delicate of care. These horses both have a lot of go when their owners or we ask them for it but can switch gears and be the kindest, gentlest loves. So " Loco In Motion" (Jazz) and "Casey Coosa" (Casey) thank you ❤. Many extra treats for the both of you tonight.

We have a rough board stall available!!!! It is an in and out type of setup, on the hill. Plenty of storage room. With rough board you would supply your own hay/grain/bedding (but we do receive regular deliveries so it's convenient). A.M. feeding is included!!! You would be responsible for cleaning your stall/turnout daily and feeding your horse p.m.(and setting up a.m. feeding). PM the page if you'd like to come have a look.

***Reminder*** We are having a cookout on Saturday night at the farm and then will be going up in the field to watch the Firework display being put on by the Corn and Potato Festival :) Let us know if you plan on coming so we're sure to have enough burgers/hot dogs, etc. If you'd like to bring something that would be great but you certainly don't have to. Today is our wonderful barn manager, Vanessa's last full day here in CT. She, Gus and Valor are moving to NC. We will miss them more than words could ever say but we love them so much we can only be happy and excited for their new adventure

In the open season for the fields we always had quite the challenge of trying to convince the horses to leave their "green buffet" ... Now that it's so cold out we would give anything to have to walk acres of grass pastures to convince our horsey friends that it was time to come in. It's the simple things! Bring us back to grass fields, all night turn out, thawed hoses, comfortable rides and bath weather! We're almost there!

Due to inclement weather Century Silhouette Farm will NOT be closed... Or delayed.. Yes, that's right. We will trek through this blizzard to assure all of our neigh-babies are safe and cozy! All you have to worry about is what movies you're going to watch on Netflix for the next two days. Here's a shout out to all the hard working and dedicated farm hands who work every single day..
