Meet Molly Mittens, a spunky girl with tortitude from Norwood! Molly is staying at The Kitt Inn while her parents are vacationing in New Brunswick, Canada! Here are some fun facts about Molly:

1.) She was born on Valentine’s Day 💘
2.) She is a lap cat and needs to turn around five times before plopping herself down.
3.) She “helps” make the bed in the morning by jumping on it and having the sheet gently fall down all around her a couple of times before allowing her mom to finish the task.
4.) She likes to do backflips when playing with her toy.
5.) She loves to sit on her chair outside on the balcony with her people watching her closely (see photos her mom shared with us!)

Quick announcement:
We are fully booked between now and the end of September. If you are planning travel ✈️ 🧳 this fall🍁/winter❄️ and would like to board your kitties with us, we highly recommend getting those plans finalized asap so you can secure your dates 🗓️ at The Kitt Inn 🐈‍⬛ 🏡🐱🐾🐈. We still have some openings between October and December, but those vacancies will fill up quickly! Now is the time to book!

Meet Jasper and Lily, two best friends from Randolph! These cuties are staying at The Kitt Inn and celebrating the 4th of July 🇺🇸 with us while their parents are cruising 🛳️ in Bermuda! Here are some fun facts about them:

1.) Jasper and Lily are big babies, tipping the scales at 12.5 lbs (Lily) and almost 17 lbs (Jasper)
2.) They are very food motivated and will clean their bowls in under 1 minute!
3.) Lily is a sucker for butt scratches while Jasper loves his chin scratches.
4.) With the right throw, Lily can catch treats in her mouth!
5.) Jasper is like a dog in cat form; he loves snuggles and being next to his humans, always needing to sit in between his parents on the couch.

Meet Pig & Goat, a dynamic duo from Norwood! Pig and Goat are enjoying a staycation at The Kitt Inn while their family is renovating their home / vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard. Here are some fun facts about them:

1.) The Kitt Inn fostered Pig when he was the tiniest, little baby at 6 weeks old 🥹
2.) When their family went to pick up Pig at the shelter, they saw Goat and decided to adopt him too and bring them home together! 😍
3.) They love bugging their dog brother, Blue 🐶
4.) They are very human friendly and love getting pets and attention 💕

The Kitt Inn Norwood visits New Orleans, Louisiana! 😻

During our pre-summer vacation in NOLA last week, we couldn’t help but notice the cat-themed bar names in the French Quarter (and a restaurant in the Central Business District called ‘Bearcat,’ which has incredible food by the way)! We were surprised we didn’t encounter any cats anywhere in the city, but on the last day of our trip, we were graced with the presence of this sassy southerner during an excursion outside the city ❤️. Obviously, we were obsessed and enjoyed every second of her company 😸.

1.) Mingus loves to hang out and play in the bathtub
2.) He enjoys supervised trips on the balcony to rule over his manor and watch birds. He has his own cat grass mini-garden too!
3.) He loves to kiss his parents’ noses!
4.) He loves to be brushed and will often come running when he hears the bristles

Meet Huayra (tabby) and Archer (gray), from Roslindale! Archer is camera shy, so to respect his privacy, we only have a couple of pictures of him. These babes are staying at The Kitt Inn while their parents are on vacation in California! Here are some fun facts about them:

1.) Huayra is great at self-entertaining. She loves to play fetch by herself and will repeatedly drop a toy from the top of the spiral staircase in her home to fetch at the bottom.
2.) Archer learned to do tricks; he knows “sit” and “paw.”
3.) They are their parents’ morning alarm clock, making sure they get up at the same exact time every day (“Wake up! It’s time for breakfast!! 😼”).

1.) Leroy and Gus are brothers who were adopted at 11 years old, and are absolute loves!
2.) They love playing with water in the sink and snuggling in bed.
3.) They enjoy sitting on the table with their parents at dinner, patiently waiting for a taste.

Meet Vidalia (Maine C**n) and Rupert (orange boy), from Plainville! This dashing duo is staying at The Kitt Inn while their family is on a trip to Rome, Italy! Here are some fun facts about them:

1.) The litter that Vidalia came from were all named after onions - Cippollini, Shallot, Pearl, and of course, Vidalia! (How cute!)
2.) Rupert was found in a trash can at 3 weeks old at her mom’s school.
3.) Vidalia went camping once and had her own cat-size tent inside her family’s tent, but she did not love it; Vidalia prefers her normal routine in the comfort of her home.
4.) Rupert is named after a stuffed animal on Family Guy.

Meet Gus, a dapper gentleman from Needham! Gus is staying at The Kitt Inn (during the solar eclipse!) while his family is on a trip to Tucson, Arizona! Here are some fun facts about him:

1.) Gus was adopted at the age of 2 from the Animal Rescue League of Boston during the pandemic.
2.) Gus is from Tennesse! He was picked up on the street, but was so socialized that he is believed to have been a house pet previously. He enthusiastically greets all visitors and wants everyone to be his friend.
3.) His favorite pastimes are surveilling the backyard from his window seat, getting treats, being brushed, and following his mom around the house.
4.) He enjoys his mom’s weekly mahjong game (look at the cute photo his mom shared with us!).

The Kitt Inn Norwood recently went to Puerto Rico and got the chance to spend time with some beautiful kitties — at a cat sanctuary in Old San Juan and various locations throughout the city of San Juan. So many cats to pet, so little time! We wish we could bring them all home!! 🇵🇷🐈🐈‍⬛❤️

Meet Boo and Ella, from Boston! These ladies are staying at The Kitt Inn while their mom is working on some home improvements! Here are some fun facts about them:

1.) They are the first two kittens their mom ever adopted.
2.) They have outlived 9 of their cat siblings over the years!
3.) Ella was found eating out of someone’s compost pile at 7 weeks old and is a foster failure.
4.) Boo is like a Kardashian who is admired/hated by all and has very high standards.

Meet Sootie, the cutie patootie from Beverly! Sootie is staying at The Kitt Inn while her mom is on a ski trip in Maine! Here are some fun facts about her:

1.) Sootie’s favorite game is fetch, and she is so good at it! We play countless rounds of fetch every day at The Kitt Inn.
2.) Sootie loves eating Churu treats. Her mom made sure to pack plenty of them for her stay at The Kitt Inn.
3.) At home, Sootie enjoys sitting on the cat tree by the window and watching bird/ mouse TV. Sootie has been enjoying these same activities at The Kitt Inn as well! She especially likes to watch TV from our cat-size couches. When she’s not relaxing by the window, you can bet a million dollars that she’s catnapping on a couch.

Meet Charlee, from Norwood! This sweetheart is our guest for the week, and we are delighted we get to spend Valentine’s Day ❤️ with her 🥰. Charlee is staying at The Kitt Inn while her mom is on vacation in New York City with her friends! Here are some fun facts about Charlee:

1.) Charlee is a big fan of catnip and is very treat-motivated. Her eyes light up when presented with treats/catnip!
2.) Charlee likes to drink water from a faucet and not her bowl, so her mom provided us with a water bottle for her stay at The Kitt Inn. (To further satisfy Charlee’s hydration preference, we have also added a water fountain for her that mimics a faucet so she has another option to choose from).
3.) Charlee’s favorite spot to hang out in at The Kitt Inn is the red tent. Her second favorite spot is inside the succulent cardboard cat house. At night, she likes to sleep on her blankie on the blue couch when no one is watching (or so she thinks 😉).

The Kitt Inn Norwood innkeepers, Connie and Ryan, are blessed to be surrounded by cats at home AND while on vacation. On their recent trip to Jamaica, they enjoyed the company of some very happy and friendly island felines who are living their best lives in paradise. Connie and Ryan are always on the lookout for cats wherever they go, and love to meet kitties from all over the world when they travel! 🐱🌎❤️

1.) Sugar (long hair) and Kane (short hair) are siblings.
2.) They have very different personalities; Sugar is shy, timid, and likes to keep to herself, while Kane is outgoing, affectionate, and attention-seeking.
3.) Sugar’s favorite hangout spot at The Kitt Inn is the dome.
4.) Kane loves to make biscuits wherever he is and purrs nonstop while he’s at it!
