These chunky fluff balls are two weeks old today! We still have males and females available in this litter. Puppies are European show-line babies and should have low to moderate drives and moderate energy.

It’s looking like we may have a few long coats in this litter but we should know more in the next couple of weeks as their coats develop more.

A dog that has been crate trained early on doesn’t see it as a punishment. They are den animals and love their crate as it’s their quiet, safe space. Couldn’t find Maddie anywhere this afternoon and then I realized she had gone into her crate on her own to take a nap after having tortured Zea. Zea approved. A lot.

Welcome to the world! Our I2 litter with Maggie Mae vom Haus Middleton and Grand Theft Niko Drago Team USA (owned by Crescent Lake German Shepherds) arrived on July 26th, 2024. We have three males and two females in this litter - sadly, one little boy was born an angel baby.

Mama Maggie and babies are all doing well and getting fatter by the day. These little nuggets are all black/tan or black/red and we can't tell as of yet if there will be any long coats in this litter. We expect low-medium energy and drive, so these puppies will make excellent family companions. There may be potential for service work and AKC type of dog sports, such as rally, dock diving or obedience. This is a European Show-line litter and both parents have hip/elbow certifications and are DM Clear. Ready to go home on or after September 20th, 2024.

Beware … below is a bit of a rant!

Our time is so incredibly precious. I don't know how to say it any clearer. For all those looking to add a puppy to their family, please understand this. We don't have a store front with a staff. I get no days off, I don't get to sleep in, I'm lucky if I get a week of vacation every couple of years. If there's a death in the family, only one of us gets to go to the services. If I have covid or some other type of sickness, I still have to work through it and care for our animals. There are no sick days. There will always be dogs needing to eat, kennels needing to be cleaned, puppies needing to be socialized and dogs needing to be trained and exercised.

So when you say you will make the two hour drive to come see our puppies and their parents, please show up or let us know in advance that you won't make it. Don't email us 15 minutes before you are supposed to show up and tell us you found another puppy that's closer that will do, especially after emailing us that morning with no indication of looking elsewhere.

People .. please understand ... we are completely OKAY with you doing your research and contacting other breeders and making appointments to look at their puppies. After all, it's a 12-15 year commitment and we understand that. But let us know. I'm happy for you if you find the perfect puppy, even if it's not one of ours. That being said, please don't just not show up or email us a few minutes before you're supposed to be here. Obviously, if you're a two hour drive away, you already knew you wouldn't be here hours before. Just be kind and let us know, as our time is so very precious.

What so many don't understand is that as breeders, we really try to accommodate your schedule. It often means changing feeding times for our puppies/dogs and upsetting their routines. It means us cancelling or delaying other functions in order to be available for a puppy showing on your schedule. We don't mind doing this for our clients, but please, please understand that our time is precious and be forthcoming with us.

Unfortunately, some people ruin things for everyone. We will no longer be showing puppies after 1 pm unless deposits are already made. We can't put our entire day on hold, change or plans, neglect our duties, all for people who have no intention of showing up. I hope everyone understands this. Our time and our animals are precious.
