Beautiful Appaloosa Gelding for Sale

Gizmo is a beautiful 9 year old grade Appaloosa gelding. He has been there and seen it all. He is the perfect Trail/JRP horse. We showed him in his first JPR a couple weeks of his arriving and he was a top ten.

He is smooth on the trail and doesn’t hesitate to cross water, bridges or go up and down hills. He has been used as a head wrangler horse, leading trail rides on the Big Horn Mountains in SD. Hauls anywhere with ease and has excellent ground manners. He is great to bathe, clip, and shoe. He gets along well with other horses.

He Is a very easy keeper and will cross anything you point him at. Once he gets to know you, he is very in-your-pocket.

This horse has a ton of potential and no know heath issues. He is somewhat forward so may no be suited to a beginning rider. He is current on shots, teeth, Coggins and worming.

One of my first outings after knee surgery. I stopped by the VA Bred show. I have had my horses compete in the show for a number of years. We have always done well. Its been a few years since I've had anything I owned compete. However, three of the horses that I bred competed and did quite well.

Thanks to Steve Meadows and their crew for carrying on the tradition one more year. Also my thanks to Mike Jennings for graciously acknowledging me and my breeding program to the show judges.

Chuie (Hollywood Star Cruzer), will be heading on the The QH Congress in OH next month and then to the World Show. Best of luck to Chuie's proud owners and team Meadows.

Our Pre-turkey Quarter Horse Circuit Show was a success. Thank you Tony DePrizio, Ruth Bishop, and Lydia Cunningham for letting me show your talented horses. Chui was quite literally the star of the show winning the AQHA Open Hi Point Award and three class circuit championships as follows: AQHA Versatility Ranch Riding, Youth Ranch Riding, and Youth Ranch Trail.
Essie was cool, calm, and collected and finally mastered her flying lead change in the show pen. One of the highlights of her showing was her score of 77 in the Ranch Trail.
Passion had a great experience and got many compliments on how well behaved she was for a two year old. She kept herself together through early mornings and late nights and did very well with the competition that she had.
Thank you Karla Mills and Abbey Betts for putting in super long days and thank you for encouraging me through this show and I look forward to our next show season.

I sold my sweet Lacy yesterday. She was the last of my brood mares. She had the best and most beautiful babies. I kept her this winter so she could have a few last months with her friend Hush. I hope your life will be a happy one sweet girl. I will miss you.

Poor Lacy after 8 years of being a brood mare she is back under saddle. Here are the trainers comments after only one week.
