Dinkus can't wait to find his fur-ever home! He has been at the Humane Society for 1,592 days! Dinkus is 7 years old and weighs 60 pounds. This silly goofball was originally transferred to us on December 10th, 2019, from a local shelter. Dinkus would do best in a home with children over 12, no other animals, and a tall sturdy fence. Despite being picky, Dinkus is loving, smart, and funny! He can't wait to go home for the holidays!

Blueberry and Apple Bone Treats for Dogs 🐾

These fruity, colorful bone-shaped treats are a nutritious and delicious way to spoil your pup. Packed with the goodness of blueberries and apples, they’re as healthy as they are tasty!

Ingredients
- 1 cup oat flour (or whole wheat flour)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter (xylitol-free)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, mix the oat flour, applesauce, and peanut butter until a dough begins to form.

3. Gently fold in the blueberries, being careful not to squish them too much to maintain the marbled effect.

4. Roll the dough out on a floured surface to about 1/2-inch thickness. Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the treats and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the treats are firm and slightly golden.

6. Let the treats cool completely before serving to your dog.

Storage
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Freeze for up to 2 months and thaw as needed.

Benefits
- Blueberries: Full of antioxidants and vitamins to support immune health.
- Applesauce: Adds natural sweetness and is rich in fiber and vitamins.
- Oat flour: Gentle on digestion and provides energy.
- Peanut butter: A protein-rich treat that dogs love (ensure it’s xylitol-free).

Calories
Approx. 50 calories per treat (depending on size).

These Blueberry and Apple Bone Treats are a healthy, homemade option for rewarding your furry friend. Their fruity flavor and chewy texture will have tails wagging! 🐕✨
