Karlie Dennis, a working student at Fox Hollow Stables in Wampum, PA, always had the goal of competing at junior hunter finals. In 2024, Karlie’s dream came true thanks to the USEF/Debbie Smith Grant. ✨

Karlie showed Nicholas Fix’s Paint The Town 🎨 at the Adequan/USEF Junior Hunter National Championships – East in Traverse City, MI! ⭐️

“It was such a cool experience,” explained Dennis. “I’ve gone to a couple bigger shows just to see what it’s like, but I don’t have the money to show at those, so I just go and watch, but it’s nothing compared to actually showing and riding.” 🗣️

It is always a pleasure to support hardworking and talented young riders that make the future of our sport. 💕

Scenes around Marketmoor LLC✨

We are thrilled to have this beautiful facility located less than 20 minutes away from World Equestrian Center – Ocala! ⭐️

The farm has a grass jumping field, a sand arena, multiple large grass paddocks next to shady oak trees, four barns, and a walker. 🌳

Our horses and riders love having such a lovely and peaceful place to call home! 💕

The 2024 recipients of the USEF/Debbie Smith Grants for the Adequan®/USEF Junior Hunter National Championship – East have been announced! ✨ Congratulations to Karlie Dennis and Ellen Gomez! 🎉

“Seeing the enthusiasm and dedication of the young riders receiving these grants for the championships is incredibly inspiring,” said Smith. “As we award these grants for the second year, I’m even more dedicated to helping deserving athletes on their journey to compete.” 🗣️

Dennis and Gomez will each receive a grant to use toward expenses related to competing at this year’s championship, such as transportation, lodging, training, braiding, etc. 🐴

We are wishing these two the best of luck this week! ⭐️
