Quite a story!

Mary Fields, also known as Stagecoach Mary and "Black Mary" born enslaved in Hickman County, Tennessee, around 1832, (no exact date known), was the first Black woman star route mail carrier in the U.S.
Fields was a respected public figure who started driving a stage coach regularly at the age of 60 and her stage coach was never held up or robbed. She was not an employee of the United States Post Office. The Post Office Department did not hire or employ mail carriers for star routes; it awarded star route contracts to persons who proposed the lowest qualified bids, and who in accordance with the Department’s application process posted bonds and sureties to substantiate their ability to finance the route. Once a contract was obtained, the contractor could then drive the route themselves, sublet the route, or hire an experienced driver.
She died in 1914 after living a long and fruitful life in Cascade, Montana. Stagecoach Mary Fields was a pioneer in many ways. She was unwilling to allow the prejudices of the time to hold her back. She is an inspiration to not only Black women but women in general

Unbelievable! This dog had a pelvic fracture, femoral head and neck fracture, the hip joint was completely shot. Bone on jaggy bone. Yet God healed a horrible femoral fracture.

❗ Vet case by Theresa Engels: "Hi there. I have a neat case to share. I am fostering a mama dog and her litter. The puppies are now 12 weeks and all but 2 have been adopted. When we started fostering them they were 4 weeks old, had URI and mama dog was emaciated. She had 9 puppies and was abandoned when her owner moved away and left her behind.
Fast forward a week after we got them, mama dog starts being a little more active and trusting us enough to walk around the yard a bit. I notice she is very subtly favoring her back right leg. As the weeks go on, I notice when she runs she just picks that leg up and runs on 3 legs like it’s normal for her. The leg in question is also atrophied, so I figured it was an old injury that she’s been dealing with for a long time. It doesn’t even seem to bother her. But when she went in to be spayed last week, I asked them to check her leg out. I wasn’t expecting this…
This girl somehow carried and birthed, and raised 9 puppies with this injury. In the summer Texas heat, left behind to do it all by herself. She is the SWEETEST mama and an absolute rockstar."

Great story!

I pulled my car into my parking space and our young dog came prancing up to greet me, looking very proud of herself. I had left her in her crate with the door latched, because she had eaten the cushion on the couch a few months earlier. She was not trusted alone in the house. So why was she outdoors?
I looked at the front door which was wide open. Oh sh*t. I called the police and told them I thought my house had been burgled and I was afraid to go in. A squad car arrived very quickly and 2 policemen inspected my house and said it looked like a break-in, but most of the valuables were stacked by the door.
My Collie-German Shepard puppy had broken out of her crate and had chased the burglar out of the house. With a prompt report, the police put out a bulletin and caught him later that day.
We never put her back in the crate again. She was well behaved and hadn’t even run away when outside the house on her own.
We put her to sleep this week at the old age of 16. She had a wonderful adventurous life. She peed in 48 states and 5 Canadian provinces. She swam in the Atlantic, Pacific, the Gulf of Mexico, all 5 Great Lakes and many lakes, ponds, streams, and mud puddles in between.
Farewell, sweet girl.

Thank you for your service and ultimate sacrifice in your line of duty. A true hero.

Thank you for your service and ultimate sacrifice in your line of duty. A true hero.

Tonight our hearts are heavy as one of the members of the Utah offroad community is with us no more.

Sergeant Bill Hooser was killed in the line of duty today in Santaquin Utah. In honor of Bill and his family, we want to flood little Sahara with as many Thin Blue Line flags as we can.

We have reached out to our friends at Jericho Specialties and without hesitation Kent and Trudy jumped into action and ordered hundreds of blue line flags. They offered to go in with us and give free flags out to as many as we can. We want to have all our pics of the event flooded with blue line flags in Bills memory.

We are donating proceeds of our raffle to help cover a chunk of flags and the rest we will send to Bill’s family.

Please stop by Jericho Specialties in the LSRA vendor area as you enter into sand mountain and grab you a flag and fly it this week.

This was sent to us from someone close to Bill and we wanted to share.
More than just a hero in uniform, Bill was a devoted family man, cherishing every moment with his wife, two daughters, and their families. Together, they found joy in creating lasting memories, often venturing to the dunes with their closest friends.

In honor of Bill’s service and the sacrifices made by all law enforcement officers, we invite you to join us in flying a blue line flag this weekend. Let us remember and honor Bill’s legacy, along with the countless other brave men and women who stand on the thin blue line to protect and serve us all.

Together, let’s keep Bill’s memory alive in our hearts and actions.

Thank you for your support and solidarity.

If you can help out we have posted the link below to the go fund me for Bill.

"See this moment? I've never experienced a moment like this. Yesterday was the first day my 5-year-old Autistic son met his new Autism Service Dog, Tornado. We are Americans that live overseas in Japan and have prepared for nearly two years to meet Tornado.”
This mother can't hug, wash, dress, snuggle and touch her son freely. But he is laying on the new service dog of his own free will, with a purposeful, unspoken attachment. This is the face of a mom who has seen her son experience countless failed social interactions on the playground in an attempt to have a friend. Any friend. But he has a friend now.

Amazing story..

”The famous Italian diver Enzo Mallorca dove into the sea of Syracuse and was talking to his daughter Rossana who was aboard the boat. Ready to go in, he felt something slightly hit his back.
He turned and saw a dolphin. Then he realized that the dolphin did not want to play but to express something.
The animal dove and Enzo followed.
At a depth of about 12 meters, trapped in an abandoned net, there was another dolphin. Enzo quickly asked his daughter to grab the diving knives. Soon, the two of them managed to free the dolphin, which, at the end of the ordeal, emerged, and issued an "almost human cry" (describes Enzo).
(A dolphin can stay underwater for up to 10 minutes, then it drowns.)
The released dolphin was helped to the surface by Enzo, Rosana, and the other dolphin. That’s when the surprise came: she was pregnant!
The male circled them and then stopped in front of Enzo, touched his cheek (like a kiss), in a gesture of gratitude and then they both swam off.
Enzo Mallorca ended his speech by saying: “Until man learns to respect and speak to the animal world, he can never know his true role on Earth." ~ Vangelis.”

“As I was walking into the grocery store with my roommate the other night, this cute little mom parked next to us and we walked passed as she got a screaming toddler and a car seat with a crying baby in it out of the car. As you can imagine and as we were thinking, she definitely has her hands full. As we smiled at her and continued walking we saw a cop get out of his patrol car and walk up to the mom. He asked if he could help and grabbed the little toddlers hand and we watched as they walked in to the grocery store. The cop proceeded to grab a buggy for the mom and told her he hoped she had a great night. She thanked him and they walked their separate ways.
(Fast forward 30 minutes)
As we were walking to the check out I see this all-star mom pushing a buggy with one hand, a baby on her hip in the other, and a toddler trailing behind her footsteps. We watched as the toddler picked up a small toy and asked his mom if he could have it. The mom replied trying to smile but with sadness in her face, ‘I’m sorry baby we can’t get that today.’ The toddler began to cry and followed his mom to the checkout in a puddle of tears. My heart broke in a million pieces for this sweet boy, me and my roommate were contemplating going to get the toy ourselves when we see the same cop walk back up to the little boy and asked him if he still wanted the toy. The boy shook his head yes (still with tears running down his face) and the cop took the boys hand, picked out the toy and proceeded not only to buy the toy but also this moms entire grocery cart of food, We watched in amazement at this super hero cop and his giving heart!
He wasn’t doing it for publicity, or to look ‘good’ he didn’t even have an idea anyone was watching. He was just a good person trying to do something good. And with all this negativity and hate going on, sometimes we need a reminder there are still so many good people in this world! I hope this encourages you as much as is has encouraged me. When you can, lend a helping hand, bless somebody else’s day, or just be kind. We are all here for the same purpose, to be a light in the darkness!
Maybe it’s time we start to spread the love.” ❤

Waiting in line to pay for groceries while maintaining a 6ft distance, this man cut in line. He didn't appear to notice what he’d done.

The person he bypassed didn't utter a word, simply maintained the appropriate distance.

When it came time for the man to settle the bill, he reached into his back pocket and retrieved a small notepad. He had forgotten his wallet.
He looked a bit disappointed and embarrassed. The person he skipped stepped up and told the cashier they’d take care of his groceries. (Which only consisted of Milk and Chocolate Chip Cookies.)

He was more than grateful. He kindly thanked them and off the man went.

Upon arrival to the register, the cashier asked: "He cut you off and you paid for his groceries. Why??"

"They calmly replied with a smile: “I hope that if one day my dad forgets his wallet, someone will step up and buy his Milk and Cookies."

With all the negativity going on in the world. I thought it would be nice to share this moment.

A little kindness goes a long way. Why not pay it forward?

In 1964, Ringo Starr snapped a photo of some high school students who had skipped class to see the Beatles during their first trip to the US...
50 years later, the group reunited and recreated the photo.
When The Beatles landed at JFK Airport on Feb. 7, 1964, about 4,000 fans and 200 journalists were on hand, including the Fair Lawn teens, who had skipped school. Later, on the Van Wyck Expressway, they encountered the limo ferrying Starr, who shot the photo and saved it for 49 years, before Ringo published it in his book, 2013.

August 8, 1982. - A line-drive foul ball hits a four-year-old boy in the head at Fenway. Jim Rice, realizing in a flash that it would take EMTs too long to arrive and cut through the crowd, sprang from the dugout and scooped up the boy.
He laid the boy gently on the dugout floor, where the Red Sox medical team began to treat him.
When the boy arrived at the hospital 30 minutes later, doctors said, without a doubt, that Jim's prompt actions saved the boy's life.
Jim came back to the game wearing a uniform stained with blood, a genuine symbol of bravery.
Following his visit to the boy in the hospital and understanding the family's limited financial resources, he dropped by the business office and directed them to send the bill to him.
This is what a sports hero looks like!
