Baby Valentino is doing great! He hates getting his halter put on right now but great with his feet, grooming, and starting to get the whole leading thing downπ. It's all about the patience.
Moe is now officially an easy loader!!π
Have I mentioned how much I love working with babies??πππ Teaching lil Valentino to give to pressure, so he can then learn to lead.
*Mute video unless you're in the mood for excessive clucking lol
Working on speed and control with two horses that move very differently... at the end of this clip they had their horses totally in sync for a few seconds. Great lesson, including some no stirrup time... they should feel it tomorrow π.
Poor Moe has been placed on limited work until he gets some x-rays to hopefully accurately diagnose the cause of mobility issues. So...15-20 minute lunging/hill work, desensitizing, trailer loading, etc it is! Praying for positive results so we can continue all normal training!β€
From running as soon as he saw a person, to coming when I call him today!!πππ
I couldn't be more thrilled!!!
If yall had any idea how BIG of a deal this is (another video in comments)!! This is the same pony that wouldn't come anywhere near anyone, by choice, for any reason. He wouldn't even take a treat from my hand. He would run if he even thought you were coming his direction. But it wasn't a game, he would snort and shiver, so mistrustingπ’. He could be caught eventually but he wouldn't dare come to you or follow you. THIS is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE kind of progress!!!ππππ
Baby Lucy (the kite flying filly). The lady riding her mentioned having issues with her standing still to mount- I'm only working with her on the ground... but we took it a step further π. First session and first 30 minutes, she's one smart cookie!
Picking up baby Mila's feet for the first timeπ
Shiloh... 2.0 Hands-free versionπ!!!
Everything he did in this video is exactly what I asked him to do with only my seat and my legs!! Very pleased with him!π
Excuse the super squeaky saddle π
So proud of these girls!! The one on the chestnut is just learning to post the trot. This was her very first time doing it by herself!π
Baby Mila is finally letting me touch her on our 3rd sessionπ!! Can't resist the power of a good scratch once they experience itπ. I just LOVE playing with the babies!!
One of my most favorite sounds in the worldπ!!! Minus the squeaky saddle lol
