Compromise....
Since we've "moved back into the house" for winter, I wanted Steven to bring our old wood cookstove in since we still haven't turned the power back on. He came back at me with, we can just turn the power back on. I'll settle for the camp stove. 🫀

*Note: yes we have windows cracked open while in use and for a time afterwards. The propane is also shut off when not in use. Thank all of you for looking out for us. We also realize the way we are currently living is not everyone's cup of tea (it sure is nice to make it in the house instead of outside in the cold). So far it has truly been a learning experience.

This. Is. Huge.
Joel Salatin has been asked by the Trump administration to be a part of the USDA.
I don't really care which side of the fence you are on politically. To have an actual farmer sit in a role in the USDA is incredible. We have had the pleasure of meeting Joel and he is incredibly unique, outspoken, and a tell it like it is kind of guy.
Let the farmers farm!
