Some of our staff joined forces this past weekend to partake in the Santa Stampede 5K in Orleans. It was a chilly day, but it was a lot of fun. We were sponsors this year, so we had to represent! There were a lot of great outfits and good vibes, and we’re glad we got to be a part of it. Happy holidays!

We can’t imagine a more well-behaved patient than Quentin. He injured his foot recently after a fall, trying to keep up with his younger brother. He’s been coming in for regular bandage changes, and we’re so happy to report he’s got a clean bill of health and his foot has healed. We’re going to miss seeing him so often, but we’re thrilled that he’s back to himself!

Meet Louis!

We’ve had the pleasure of taking care of this sweet guy for all of his 10 years so far! He’s been coming in for monthly injections of Librela, so we get to see him on a very regular basis ❤️

Have you heard of it before?

Librela (bedinvetmab) is a monthly injectable treatment for osteoarthritis pain in dogs. This monoclonal antibody targets nerve growth factor (NGF) to provide long-lasting relief without the side effects of traditional pain medications. It helps improve mobility and quality of life, making it an ideal option for dogs with arthritis.

Cooper loves the vet!

We know it can be hard to believe that dogs like to come to the vet, but Cooper doesn’t want to leave! This went on for quite a bit, before he decided he’d like to go to the beach instead ☀️ We hope you had fun swimming!

Happy first day of summer!!! Nothing says summer like a pool full of puppies! 💦

This was a MAJOR Fear Free win yesterday. Chewie is not a fan of any medical procedures or restraint of any kind. He used to scream when he was touched in any way he thought was suspicious. We’ve tried multiple medications, treats and techniques, and we finally nailed it. All it took was being held like the Superdog he is, belly rubs, bum scratches, calming voices, and lots of bacon treats! We are so proud to have a team who are all on board with these techniques, and who make medical procedures as comfortable as possible for each individual patient’s needs. #fearfreecertifiedprofessional #fearfreevetvisit #fearfreepets

Pete is one of our favorite patients - he’s such a good boy. He is a big fan of our Fear Free handling techniques, which is a good thing since he needs to come in for regular bloodwork to monitor his hyperthyroidism. We love ya Pete! #fearfreevetvisit
