It’s super hard not to feel that imposter syndrome when my garage-turned-studio is as messy and full of spiders as it is, or when my equipment is held together with gaffer’s tape and dreams.

But then I get to work with some fantastic folks, and I’m reminded that we can create art anywhere, without the latest and best equipment, or without a real space to shoot in.

And I’m forever thankful for the tutelage of experienced photographers who have helped me grow over the years, who have let me learn from them when I knew nothing. The ones who weren’t precious about the trade, who let me peek behind the curtain and taught me all I know without the gatekeeping and zero-sum game mentality.
