Hwy 26 closure…currently the highway is closed due to a bridge being out. But that closure is south of us and DOES NOT AFFECT US. You can still come down Hwy 26 from Oshkosh and reach our property!!
If you are coming from the south (Fon Du Lac area) there is a slight detour.

Greetings to Curve Crest and Doggie Paddle clients!

Here is the announcement we have all been waiting for!! The Doggie Paddle pool is open and Gingr will be set to take appointments starting on Monday morning.

There are a few changes and things you need to know…so please read to the very end of this post.

1 - The pool is set up OUTSIDE…this is only a temporary set up…we’re doing everything we can to get a building built and a permanent site functional…but until then we want your dogs to be able to swim. Note that being outside may mean weather impact…but we’ll do the very best we can.
2 - Please note that we have limited electricity and therefore there is not a wash tub and dryer for after the swim. So please make sure you bring extra towels for drying.
3 - We don’t have a formal waiting area, so if you arrive early, please wait in your car until the previous swimmer and owner have left the dock and are away from the entrance area. 4 -Please make sure your dog is on a secure leash.

All existing packages can be utilized and additional packages may be purchased. If you purchase packages now, they may continue to be used once the building is built and ready to go. Remember, packages have no expiration date.

We are looking forward to seeing you soon….and are very excited to be able to have swimmers for fun and therapy.

Matt and Ashley

Greetings to our Doggie Paddle friends and swimmers!! Just wanting to keep you updated on our journey....
As most of you know, our journey with leased locations for our pool has not gone well....but know we are working diligently to get your pups back in the water!!
Two things are in the works!!
1 - we're setting up the pool outside at the kennel...416 St Hwy 26....hopefull will be ready in several weeks....so check back here often and we'll keep you updated as to our progress and how soon we can open for swims.
2 - we are applying for all the permits needed to build a new building - also at the kennel - but this takes some time to move through all the approvals. Please send all your good vibes and thoughts for success as we move forward. The plan for the new building includes room for the pool...reception and waiting area...and wash tub for after swimming. Being on the kennel site will allow us to add swimming for our boarding dogs as well...we're excited for the future!!
Thanks for your continued support!!......and stay tuned for updates!

🐾 URGENT PLEA! 🐾

We have been called on once again to help those with no voice. Even with over 30 dogs in our current care waiting to transport north, the help is still needed and it is STILL a matter of life or death.

Today we were made aware of seven young puppies who came into a shelter very sick and defeated. Three from the original litter of 10 have already passed away, leaving seven survivors who are slowly getting better with each passing day. It has now come to a matter of life or death as we are their last chance of survival. We are up against the clock with euthanasia as an unfortunate reality if we do not take them on.

Why are we sharing this? Well, we would love to help these seven survivors; give them the best care and ultimately find their loving and forever homes, but we cannot take them on until blood panels have been completed, ruling out various deadly and contagious diseases to young puppies. We do not want any others to die, so in order to give them the best help, we need to see what we are up against.

We are sharing this story for two reasons. The first is to share the dooming reality for far too many dogs. Our mission is to not only save who we can, but to also educate our community about what we are up against and how it is relentless. The second reason is an ask. We are asking for any medical funding support to help with their vet visits and tests. Any bit helps and there is not an amount too small. If you are not in a place to monetarily support, please consider sharing this post, increasing their visibility and our opportunity to help them.

💻 There are many ways you can donate. Through our PayPal or Venmo or you can now become a monthly donor through our Patreon account: http://patreon.com/SavingSullyDogRescue

Thank you for allowing us to be their voice and to share their story. We are hopeful that with your help we can save them! 🙏

The Doggie Paddle

Announcing the Grand Opening of a new fun, exciting, and beneficial way to spend time with “Man’s Best Friend” opening in the Fox Valley. The Doggie Paddle by Curve Crest Kennels will be having its Ribbon Cutting on January 7 at 1:30 pm and Grand Opening Event Saturday January 9th from 10 am until 4 pm. The public is invited to join us for both events. The Doggie Paddle will have swim and jump demonstrations for owners – but please leave your dogs at home for these events. We will be happy to schedule Paddle times for your “Best Friends”.

The Doggie Paddle is an indoor heated pool for dogs located on the south side of Oshkosh and owned by Matt Mokler. The Doggie Paddle offers “Paddle” times for dogs that love to swim, love to fetch toys in the water, or need swimming lessons. Swimming for dogs is a great way to burn excess energy in a low impact exercise. This is also very helpful with dogs that need to lose some extra weight, have joint problems, and great for senior dogs to keep their mobility up. Our staff can also get in the pool with the dogs during a “Paddle with a Partner” if they need help or additional training. The pool facility is located in the Barr complex at 1335 Planeview Dr. Suite 19.

The Doggie Paddle is brought to you by Curve Crest Kennels which is a dog boarding facility also on the south side of Oshkosh, owned by the Mokler Family. Moklers purchased the Boarding Kennel in 2018. Matt Mokler used an indoor pool for rehab purposes after one of his Labrador Retrievers, Gunner, tore his CCL (ACL in humans). At that time, the thought of merging the boarding kennel with a pool facility was born. The two business are on different properties so for now boarding dogs are not able to swim while the owners are away. Long term plans include a new building and moving the pool onto the Curve Crest site. Curve Crest Kennels is located at 414 Hwy 26, just five miles south of Oshkosh.

Matt is passionate about training his personal dogs for waterfowl retrieving and has one Master Hunter in AKC Hunt Tests. Matt is also an AKC Judge. Matt and his partner, Lisa, share this passion and love of dogs and bring a caring, compassionate focus to the kennel, the pool, and training.

The Doggie Paddle is also a Sanctioned Facility with Dock Dogs ®. “DockDogs® is an organization about having fun and celebrates every improvement with our competitors, staff, sponsors, and spectators. Even an inch improvement over a team’s previous jump is something to be happy about. We continue to work hard to keep the sport as simple and fun as possible, and to create a culture of camaraderie amongst the Novice through the experienced competitors. We want teams to participate at whatever level they and their dogs can compete, so we created divisions for each of the different disciplines, which in turn allows teams to be ranked and awarded fairly against other competing teams, based on their current performance abilities.” (quote from www.dockdogs.com.) The “Wisconsin Dockdogs” club will be hosting events and training days at The Doggie Paddle beginning in January 2021.
