I have been an animal lover my whole life. I decided to create Katie's Paw-some Pet Sitting in 2012, from seeing how stressed a family member's dog got when boarded at a veterinary clinic. The dog was so uncomfortable and stressed from being away from her loved ones and home that she lost 9 pounds in two weeks. The dog herself is hard to keep weight on and isn't a big eater even with tuna, cheese

, canned dog food mixed in with her regular dog food. I have many years experience with all types of animals. Which includes:
-Dogs
-Cats
-Horses
-Sheep
-Goats
-Turkeys
-Chickens
-Fish
-Ducks
-Guinea Pigs
And the list goes on! I've worked at a local animal shelter for a year and a half dealing with all types of dogs from Chihuahuas to Newfoundlands as well as many bully breeds and cats. I am currently working as a kennel assistant at a local veterinary clinic. I am familiar with all the vet clinics around town and am also comfortable with giving medications to your pet.

Good morning,
I apologize for not keeping this page updated and such. These past few months have been very busy.
As posted in previous posts, I do not post pictures of animals while they are in my care in case if someone recognizes that animal and takes advantage of an empty home. All pictures I post, I get consent before posting.
With that being said, I hope all of you didn’t get much storm damage. My three jobs this morning required me to be outside and well I spotted a very fashionable look so the bottom of my pants would not get wet.

Finishing up taking care of a farm for the night and I saw this sunset.

I’ve realized I’ve been MIA on here and well, life has been busy and I’ve been enjoying taking care of clients animals and when I’m not, I’m spending time with my family.

I’ve realized these past few weeks I’ve been a little MIA on here.
To post a picture of a client’s animal(s), I always wait until I have consent to do so and also wait until the owners are back home. That is why I don’t have many pictures or videos on here.
There have been a lot of break ins happening around town lately. I refuse to post pictures of client’s animals while they are away because someone might recognize that animal and realize that the owners are not home and then try and break in.
I hope all are doing well and are enjoying spring as much as my horse Sully is!

Took this while I was walking two dogs out this evening and the dogs themselves also enjoyed it (one loves sniffing everything and the other has a heavier coat).
