After a little time to recuperate, Mr. Coachwhip was well enough to be released.

So last night, around midnight, we get a call from the Sheriff’s Office that a lady called in saying she couldn’t get to her front door because there was an animal hanging around there. After loading him up last night, this porcupine spent the rest of the night and some of today with us so we could make sure he was good to go. Our friend “Spikey” has been relocated and released.

We got to help the Sheriff’s office pass out trick-or-treat bags at the OES this morning. It was awesome to see the kids dressed up in their costumes for the pre-K Spooktacular!

When you get a call that there’s a turtle crossing the main road. This water turtle must of caught a ride through the draws to Ozona with all the rain water. Captured and will be relocated.

Looks like the water runoff hit Ozona around 1:30. It wasn’t raining but the draws were rising.

This fledgling owl was reported out at the Junior High playground this morning. He was probably out because of a failed first test flight. Our local Game Warden has been contacted. We will take him out later this evening to see if maybe with another try he can fly. If he cannot, he will be brought back in and the Game Warden will come for him tomorrow.
