We had a cat come for a routine spay at about 8 months of age, normal surgery, went home with discharge instructions, cone, pain meds - the usual.

Recheck appointment schedule in 2 weeks time, owner notified to contact us if they had any issues or questions before then.

Cat comes for recheck about 2.5/3 weeks post op (owner rescheduled) and the incision appears like this …

Apparently the owner was keeping the incision “clean” with hydrogen peroxide."
