We are excited to welcome our new groomer!!

My name is Kieran and I have lived in Alaska my whole life. I have a three year old German shepherd- Rottweiler who is my best friend.
I have almost two years of experience as a dog groomer, but my experience working with animals has not been exclusive to that.
When I’m not on the clock I love to go hiking with my pooch. I am very passionate about music and art and staying healthy.

Job Description
We are looking for strong candidates with a passion for dogs, cats, and other small exotic pets to join us as a Resort Attendant. To be a part of a team responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and comfort of all pets in our care. North Star Pet Resort is committed to the success of our team members as we believe that if you are successful then we will be successful.

Must be 18 to apply.

Daily responsibilities will include:
• Maintain visual observation of dogs at all times and spread attention and play among all dogs in playgroup
• Use proper dog handling techniques as instructed by leadership
• Use appropriate praise and dog correction methods as instructed by leadership
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the resort according to sanitation, cleaning and safety standards
• Follow strict feeding and medication instructions for pets in our care
• Follow policies and procedures as defined by management

Minimum Experience, Skills or Academic Background Required:
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Organizational skills
• Positive attitude
• Professionalism
• Team Player
• Previous experience providing animal care (personal or job related) – Preferred
• High school graduate or GED; College students are welcome
