Goal: Enlighten pet parents and professionals animal welfare heroes, veterinary staff, students and all animal lovers to the importance of preventative care, how to achieve and maintain health, wellness and quality of life; the ability to heal with food; raise awareness to less invasive alternative therapies; a
nd the benefits of holistic and integrative care. Attend an empowering day of interactive educational lectures, hands-on demonstrations, speak with veterinary professionals, visit exhibitors, receive product samples, information about services for your pet and take part in a community service project. Bring your children to learn about love, respect and the proper care animals require, and enjoy this community-wide event raising money for The Boo Tiki Fund, a nonprofit 501 (c)3 charity helping family pets receive veterinary care. Mike & Rebecca O’Donnell, Founders of the Boo Tiki Fund, will be present to share their story, the mission statement of the Fund and some happy stories of pets whom have received assistance. (Read more about the Boo Tiki Fund below.) Meet our featured local nonprofit foundation, THE WUFF HOUSE, INC., recipient of our community service project. We'll be collecting pet food to support their mobile pet food pantry in Palmyra, which provides help for all Burlington County Residents' pets. Speak with NAPPS, the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, to learn about Pet Parent Memberships and the many resources they have available. Enjoy a complimentary lunch, fill your bag with samples, sponsored giveaways and possibly win a lovely prize in the Chinese Auction. You may even hear yourself broadcasted on WFYL 1180 AM Pet Chat Radio Show from the Symposium! Visit the exhibitors and learn about their quality products and professional services for your pet. It is a wonderful day for all who attend and there's something from which we may all benefit! Submit a photo in the Precious Pets and Special People Photo Section of the Symposium Program as a tribute in memory of a beloved furry angel, honor a special lovie or veterinary professional, send get well or birthday wishes, etc. These will also be posted on the symposium web page and pages. The donation amount is $25 per photo for 1/4 page of 8.5" x 11"
