TRAFFIC FYI - A building in downtown Papillion is working on its façade, beginning today, April 29. The project is restricting southbound traffic on Washington/84th St to one lane through the downtown area and will last one to two weeks. If the project lasts two weeks, the barricades will be removed during the weekend. Please use caution in the area during the project.

Our hearts go out to all those in our community who were in the path of the tornado yesterday. It still seems unreal that it happened, but it did. We are thinking of all and sending love to all of you.

We want to share some info posted by groups within our community in case it can help anyone who has been impacted. Info is changing hourly, so reach out to them directly for more details.

The American Red Cross Serving Nebraska and Southwest Iowa has set up a shelter for displaced residents at Common Ground Recreation and Aquatic Center, 1701 Veterans Drive in Elkhorn.

Nebraska Humane Society can help with emergency shelter and supplies. Donations of dog & cat food and cat litter can be taken to NHS as well.

Bark Avenue Omaha is offering boarding assistance.

Dogtopias are offering boarding assistance.

Muddy Paws Rescue is assisting with finding lost pets.

Lost Pets of Omaha Area is always helping reunite pets with their families.

Town and County Humane Society has a Pet Sponsorship Program to assist those impacted.

If you want to bring any dog or cat food, cat litter donations to Karen's Kritter Kastle this upcoming weeks, we will be happy to transport to NHS.

Our lovely neighbors Diana's Tea Shop & Room Is needing some extra love and support. If any of our fur families like tea of any kind, they have something for everyone.

Lets be real with our tea people. We made a live video on Facebook yesterday that unfortunately we are unable to share on Instagram. It was something that a friend advised us to do. The video pretty much talked about our struggle at the moment. Our small tea shop is hurting. With the delays on shipment, we are not getting our tea, no communication between our distributor, prices raising, sales dropping, and other things. We are opening up to you. Things are not looking good for our little tea shop. We don't ask for anything but for your support not only for us but for all those who are in the same boat. We know it's a hard time for everyone. Though, if things keep this way, we are looking at maybe two months tops. We will try our best to finish all our events from November to December. After that, we will come up with the definite answer. For now, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us or come and visit us. We appreciate it you all. -Tim & Angie
