Stretch it out! As temperatures begin to drop and turn-out conditions are less than ideal, it is important to make sure we are giving our horses the opportunity to stretch their cold, stiff muscles. There are plenty of stretches you can assist your horse with on your own such as carrot stretches and the leg stretch shown above. SIXTEEN… that how how many muscles it takes for a horse just to move its EAR! Think about all the muscles it takes to support a rider, walk, trot, perform in the ring….

Horses are truly amazing and with massage we can make sure that your horses muscles are healthy and they are able to perform their job.

Regardless if your horse provides lessons for kids, does cattle or farm work, is in the show ring or just a good ol’ trail ride, massage should be part of your horses health care!
