Our Story
Owned and managed by the Garnett family, Mad Dog Artist Studios is set up and equipped to meet the studio needs of artists who work in most media, including: Jewelry, non-metal Sculpture, mixed media, Ceramics and Painting. We welcome artists of all levels and experience. We currently are home to over forty artists. We offer:
a sunny open floor plan (over 8,000 square feet)
34 - seven feet wide thermopane windows
new heating system
new electrical system and air conditioning
dedicated jewelry benches
new ceramic kiln, slab roller and “Whisper Wheels”
a jewelry kiln
plenty of personal storage
new bathrooms with a shower and changing area

on a bus route, 3/4 mile from soon to be completed MBTA station

"Open Studio Memberships" starting at two days a week open studio access at $90. per month (no long term commitment)
"Private Studio Memberships" featuring seven days a week access to your own private studio in addition to all Open Studio facilities at $320. per month
visit Mad Dog Café on the first floor... coffee, loose-leaf teas, baked items, soups, salads and sandwiches open M-F 8AM to 3:30 PM
