February is cat breeding season (yes, there’s actually a season).

February is Feline Fix by Five awareness month! We’re helping to spread the word about the best time to spay and neuter kittens – BEFORE five months of age! Kittens can be safely spayed or neutered once they are two months (or once they weigh two pounds). Talk to your veterinarian if you have any questions about your cat, and you can also learn more at felinefixbyfive.org
